(As promised, here's Giovanna's POV)

GIOVANNA POV

I had just gone to sleep because I was exhausted when I heard yelling coming from downstairs.

"They're going to kill me one day..." I began mumbling to myself as I walked down the stairs to where I think the voices are coming from.

I get to the doorway when I see my girls on one side of the kitchen and Rogelio and his sons on the other.

"These boys are so trigger happy geez. I'll need to discipline them because I just know Rogelio sure as hell won't." I mumble to myself.

I tell my girls to put their guns down and Venus being Venus seems distraught at the idea of not shooting them.

I roll my eyes as I tell Rogelio and the boys to do the same.

The boys just stare at me in shock, they've probably been told I was dead.

Huh.

Funny because I remember calling Rogelio and telling him I was very much alive.

Rogelio just stared at me with a blank face.

You see, my relationship with my son is a little rocky, he loved his father so much and when we got a divorce, well he blamed it on me and has resented me for that, but he still acts respectfully around me, he knows I'll beat his ass if he doesn't. Little brat...

Anyhow, the girls decided to go to sleep which I was honestly glad for.

I know the boys would have so many questions and let's just say that the girls don't take kindly to people prying into their past. I am one of 3 people to know even an inkling of their childhood. It's sad really, they're truly amazing people when you get to know them but their walls are too high to climb so no one makes an effort with them.

As soon as the girls walked upstairs, that's when the questions started flying at me.

"Who are these chicks?"

"Nonna where have you been?"

"How'd you meet these girls?"

"Are they your daughters?"

The rest of the questions were being thrown at me so quickly that I decided to end it.

I lifted my hand up and all the talking immediately subsided.

"One at a time or I'm not answering anything." I stated.

I swear, had Rogelio not taught his kids how to be polite? That's another thing I'll be talking about with him later on.

I came back to reality as Emiliano asked where I've been.

"I've been in Moscow for about five years." I answered honestly.

"How'd you meet the girls? Are they your children?" chimed in Marcelo.

I laughed as I answered, "I met them on the streets of Russia, they told me they were thrown onto the streets by their family so no, they're not my children but I see them as my children nonetheless."

They looked at me skeptically as Angelo asked me why I hadn't contacted them and told them that I was alive and why I showed up out of the blue right now.

"If I had contacted you all long before all of this, you would've been in even more danger and I will NOT have my grandchildren's blood on my hands. I came now because the French came for us and almost killed us.

The girls will be acting as all of our bodyguards until I see fit." I finished looking at Rogelio to see if he'd argue with me about it. Surprisingly, he didn't and just nodded as he turned to see his son's reaction.
