Chapter 25

VENUS POV

I was sitting in the car trying to figure out how to  explain what I had just remembered to my sister.

-Flashback-

We had just finished dodging our fathers men while we were escaping his office and we were now sitting about a mile into the nearby woods where we had only moonlight to give us light.

I was reading the file Juno had taken before we escaped, trying to figure out what the hell any of this was.

Every other page of the file was a different language except for the last one. This page was stuck to another which almost made me miss it. I quickly pealed the pages apart and began reading. The real things that caught my eye though were the words 'father', 'mother' and our apparent birthdays:

Original Background Information:
Father: Rogelio Bianchi
Mother: Unknown
Date of Birth: January 13, 2004

I took a deep breath as I came to realize that our "father" wasn't who he actually was at all.

I set the file down and took a deep breath as I realized that Juno and I had blood ties somehow somewhere in this world. I immediately woke her up and decided to tell her the news.

I shook her awake and began to ramble as I handed her the file.

"We actually have family Juno...not just this "father" who's treated us like shit all our lives..." I began, "We need to find him, I think-."

"Venus let's stop with this." I turned my head to her as she began to speak. "First, how did we end up here? Maybe this guy who's apparently our Dad gave us up or even worse sold us...why would we want to go back to someone who might be worse than Father?"

"I mean you have a point but don't you want to meet our family if we have one? Don't you wonder how life would be like if we were with our blood family?"

"No...it'll just bring us more pain.."

I tried to explain it to her but she ended up convincing me that we should just drop the topic and figure out how to survive on our own now.

From that day forward, I completely erased the name I saw in that file and so did Juno.

-Flashback Ends-

I glanced at my sister anxiously waiting for me to respond to her question when I finally found the words to speak.

"What's the Bianchi boys dads name?" I asked her hesitantly as I waited for her to answer.

She glanced at me and just started laughing. When she realized I was serious she began to speak, "Fine, fine i'll play you're game. His names Roger or Romeo or Rick or Rogelio or something like that. Why do you wanna know so bad you know it too don't you?"

"Juno...do you remember the file we opened when we escaped Fathers house in the woods?"

She looked at me like I had grown another head as she began to slowly talk, "The one with all our Project information on it? Yeah I remember why do you-" she stopped suddenly as her eyes widened.

"Rogelio Bianchi." We both whispered at the same time as she whipped her head towards mine.

"You don't think-" she began to question as I immediately responded.

"What is the chance that this man is our actual dad?"

"Maybe he is maybe not...but what would that do for us V?...I don't see how he can help us now that we're basically adults."

"Wouldn't it be nice to have a true father though? and a full family for that matter?" I questioned her as I began fidgeting with my nails.

She seemed to think about it for a couple seconds before she finally responded, "I say we keep this on the low for now until we know 100% that he is our true father okay?"

"Okay that's fine I can do that!" I nodded as we both sat in the car processing everything that had just occurred.

I was about to tell her something when I suddenly heard a gun shot.
