Ch 16

2.9.2021

16 –I'm skipping to the part where the Curly Hat crew are confronted by Begde, and this is where the plot veers off completely

"He was your friend! How could you!" Nastu said lunging,

"Nastu!" I cried tugging him back hugging his back, "We can't revile our magic," I whispered.

"But-" He stopped as my tears soaked into his back, "Lucy," He whispered,

"We can't do it," I muttered again, he grunted, but his stance relaxed

"Why don't we talk inside?" Bege said opening his chest, Nastu glared throwing out an arm in front of everyone, Bege nodded and closed the gate.

"Very well then," Bege said closing the gate, "Are you Vinsmoke Sanji?" He asked turning to Sanji and my heart skipped a beat. I recognized that name. Vinsmoke, was my fiancé's name, my eyes trailed over to Nastu, I couldn't leave him again, especially in this world. Dread settle in me. How could I have been so stupid, of course my Dad wouldn't have wanted me with just an ordinary marriage. Nastu caught me staring and his eyes widened as he saw what I was about to do. I cleared my throat, interrupting what Bege was saying. Everyone turned to look at me but I couldn't back down now, I needed to save Sanji,

"My name is Lucy Hearfillia," I said my chin held high, upon me saying my last name everyone whipped towards me shocked, even in the other worlds the Heatfillia name carried great influence.

"Lucy" Nastu and Happy whispered, but I couldn't look at them, they couldn't save me this time. I had to do this. Bege cleared his throat,

"Not too long ago Jude Hearfillia promised his daughter's hand to the Vinsmokes," He said and I could feel the heat radiating from Nastu, "Are you that daughter?" he asked. I couldn't speak I felt as if my world was shattering around me, my father did try after he had lost his money, but I guess it wasn't enough. I nodded slowly.

"Then I guess you'll have to come with us as well," Bege said briskly

"No!" Nastu said surging forward, I gripped his hand holding it tightly,

"I have to Nastu," I whispered,

"You big meanie, you can't take Lucy away!" Happy said but I grabbed him and held him close,

"It's okay Happy," I whispered, I could feel a few tears leak-free.

"No it's not Lucy," He said, "You're a part of Fairy Tail now," He said and taking my hand he placed them on my keys and as if in response they warmed slightly, "I can take him," he said looking me dead in the eyes.

"Nastu, Big Mom is like one of the Four Gods, we can't put that target on the Straw Hat's back," I whispered

"I can take her," He said, causing everyone to gap at him,

"Nastu-" I started, then I stopped and looked around, everyone was watching us trying to see what we would do. My gaze fell on Sanji, he was staring at me with a bewildered expression and something else that I couldn't place. He gave me a small nod. My keys warmed in my grip letting me know they were there, I looked at Happy, and finally, my gaze landed back on Nastu who was staring at me. I gulped and slowly nodded,

"Do it," I whispered. Nastu cracked a grin and bashed his knuckles together,

"I'm all fired up now!" He said, and started breathing in, sucking in a big breath of air,

"Get down!" I cried lunging and knocking everyone down,

"Fire Dragon ROAR!" He cried and fire burst from his mouth roasting everything in sight.

"What!" everyone cried, I got up dusting off my outfit, then I turned on Nastu,

"Did you have to make it so big! You could have burned my outfit again!" I cried Nastu just laughed. I sighed and turned back to everyone else,

"Let's wait until Luffy and the rest of the crew get here and then I explain," I said
