I stared out at the water, frowning slightly. I really missed Nastu, Gray, Happy, Erza, I missed the whole guild. I wished I had time for a proper goodbye. I quickly wiped a tear that had leaked out.
"You really miss them don't you," Zoro said and I spun around furiously whipping my tears, I smiled.
"Of course I do," I said and Zoro grunted and leaned on the rail looking out to sea.
"Then why are you here? You obviously belong with them," He asked bluntly and I looked over to Luffy, and smiled
"Luffy seems happy," I said and he followed my gaze and grunted,
"You don't have to worry about him you know, we'll take care of him," He said and I nodded, Luffy was my little brother, I hope they didn't expect me to trust him with just anyone.
"You don't trust us," He said startling me,
"It's not that I don't trust you!" I exclaimed, "It's that," I hesitated, then sighed looking out at the sea again, "It's just Luffy's a handful, okay? I don't know anyone here well, but I can tell you are good people who would do anything for Luffy, but where I'm from... well it's just..." I sighed and turned to Zoro, "You know something's, up don't you?" I asked directly and he nodded, "but you don't want to do anything because you know Luffy will kill you," I said and he nodded again, "Then we're in the same boat, we have to learn to trust each other," He grunted,
"I guess we do," He said peering at me with that green eye of his, "I'm sorry, about your brother, he was a good man," I teared up a little, but I managed a smile,
"I know he was," I said, looking back out to sea, "Can you tell me about him? It's been too long since I've seen them," The tears ran faster and I looked down at my hands,
"He was the leader of the second division of the White Beard Pirates," I smiled looking back out,
"So he became a great pirate, just as he wanted," I mused watching the dun start to raise, opps I completely forgot to sleep.
"Well we should be reaching Dressrosa soon," I said, turning to go back to my quarters, "I better go get dressed,"
"Good morning Lucy!" Robin called approaching me and handing me my book, "I stayed up all night reading it!" She said and I smiled,
"I'm glad you liked it, you can keep it I have two left anyways," I said and she smiled lowering her extended arm,
"I saw you talking to Zoro," She said and I nodded,
"You were right, we will do anything for Luffy," She said warning tinging her tone, I smiled lightly,
"As will I"
