As promised, a double update!
It had been a few days and I had gotten sick again, Chopper made sure I was locked in a room this time though claiming "it was for my own good," but I was just bored, the spirits came to visit me though, so that was fun. After a few days, I had enough and decided to pick the lock. When the door swung open a hand flew to my eyes, shading them from the harsh sun.
"Luffy I think you have a stowaway." An unfamiliar voice said. I followed the voice to find someone sitting on the grass with a single sword leaning against him. His eyes were narrowed and he had dark hair and a bored expression. Luffy came swinging towards me. Laughing as usual.
"That's my sister Traffy." He said swinging back to his post.
"Ptf," I laughed and extended my hand,
"It's nice to meet you 'Traffy' I'm Lucy" He shook my hand
"Law, Talfar Law." He said. I nodded.
"Don't worry it took me a while to convince Luffy to stop calling me 'Lu'" I muttered looking towards the trouble maker.
"Why didn't I see you on the island?" Law asked I look him over.
"Why are you here? Or you a new addition to the crew?" I asked. Law looked taken back.
"I am the captain of the Heart Pirates. Luffy and I have established an alliance to take down one of the four emperors of the sea." I raised an eyebrow.
"Which one?" I asked I wonder if it was Shanks.
"Kaido," He said eyeing me. I let out a breath of relief, I would have liked to see Shanks again but I guess it wasn't to be.
"Good," I said turning away"You haven't answered my question, Ms. Lucy," Law called I turned back to him.
"I was resting," I said simply, not mentioning the fact that I was locked in a room. He looked me over again then nodded as if not really caring all that much.
"Lucy! Come over here look at this!" Luffy called causing Chopper to look up and come routing over.
"Lucy! You're not supposed to be out!" He asked concerned looking me over. I could feel Talfar's heavy gaze.
"Yeah, no thanks to you," I said angrily, he laughed nervously, backing away, Until he turned and full out ran
"Lucy!" My bother called from the edge of the boat, I came over and he pointed to something on the horizon it looked like a spec by now.
"That's where we came from, you missed the start of our adventure," Luffy said disappointed. I patted his head."I'm all better now so I'll be along for the rest of the adventure," I promised I wished I could ruffle his hair like I did before he got his hat. Hmmm, I wonder, I gently took off his hat placing it on his back so he knew where it was, and ruffled his hair. He chuckled.
"You used to do that a lot." He said"It's not my fault Shanks decided to give you a hat. I mean why not a sword or the dagger you stabbed your eye with," I huffed. I felt stares and I looked around to see everyone staring at me with disbelief. Even Zorro had cracked an eye
"What?" I asked.
"Luffy kills anything that takes his hat," Nami spoke up.
I looked at her confused, "But I didn't take it," I said, "It was always around his neck. Besides, technically it's mine too. Shanks looked at me after giving it to Luffy and said, 'Good Luck on your dreams as well.' Everyone gaped. Luffy just laughed looking at the emblem on my hand.
"And you did just that." He chuckled proudly. I ruffled his hair again. Then he got serious as if remembering something, "How's your father?" He asked I looked down, tears leaking out. I shook my head and wiped away my tears. I felt Sanji stiffen, behind me, and I flashed back to that morning I had told him that the story I was telling was mine.
"Not here Luffy," I said and Luffy nodded going back to his fishing. Just thinking about my father... He was a good man, once he had lost his money. I wished I had more time with him. Instead, I missed him, I missed his death, I missed his funeral, I missed his last wishes. Instead, we made a mess of his last wish, if that clock hand was even from him. I looked around the deck. Everyone was just chilling and hanging around.
"Hey, 'Traffy'" I said approaching Law. He looked up
"Hey 'Lu'" I grinned.
"Why are you staring at that like a hawk? Doflamingo already called," I asked sitting down next to the transponder snail.
"You know Luffy, do you think that whatever Doflamingo has would jeopardize the mission?" I looked at the Snail.
"I think that Luffy is very much like my best friend Natsu, they will give everything for a few reasons." I held up my emblem with a first,
"One," I extended a figure, "If it would save something he loved, but even then, he wouldn't compromise. Two" I held up another figure, "If it were the right thing to do. Three" I held up another finger, "If it were to protect something he loved." I turned to Law showing him the three figures.
"If you can think of something that will fit any of these categories, we might be in trouble, but even then if Luffy says he'll do something, he'll do it." Law looked at me and I looked right back. He sighed rubbing a hand down his face.
"Alright then, no reason to worry about it now." I looked over to him
"That's not what's bothering me though." I said causing Law to tense again, "you said that he needs to give up his throne, but when we arrive take a good look at the people. He is a warlord and a king, he is valuable to the world government and so are you and Luffy. If he can strike a deal with them... it will cause your plan to fall apart. He will be underestimating us. If one thing I've learned from battles is it is sometimes better to overestimate your opponents, that way you can be overprepared rather than underprepared," I summed up causing Law to look at me strangely.
"You speak as if you've face enemies as great if not greater than Doflamingo. Yet, I've never heard of you, even when it came out that Ace and Luffy were brothers and who their parents were." He commented and I looked away. He was sharper than he looked, I better heed my own advice.
"I like to fly under the radar, I assume you thought that it was just Luffy and Ace but what you did not realize is that once upon a time there were four of us," I said
"Four Luffies?" He asked incredulously.
"Well, Ace was always a hothead. He cooled down though, with age, our other brother was always getting in between Luffy and Ace, stopping fights and whatnot. And then there was me, I came from a different..." I hesitated, searching for the right word. "Environment as those three. I always related more towards Sabo, I helped bring the three together, I had known Ace for a long time before he met Sabo actually, and I'd known Luffy for a bit longer than that." I smiled at all the fun we'd had and Law's expression softened, it wasn't quite a smile but I gladly took it.
"It sound's like a great adventure." He said. Luffy chucked coming up to us
"It was. Too bad Lucy didn't live with us." He said. I shot him a look. Oh no
"What do you mean?" Law asked, "She's your sister isn't she?"
"She sure is." He laughed going away
