I groaned as I held a hand up to the sun beating down on my, it had been two days since I'd reached this island and still no sign of Luffy. Supposedly this was the first island of the new world, based on his bounty Luffy couldn't be far. I sighed and pulled out the poster again, staring down at that face. I smiled, remembering Luffy eating the fruit, getting all stretchy, stabbing himself in the face, I remember him getting us kidnapped, then Shanks had come to save us, sacrificing his arm. I smiled as he placed the hat on Luffy's head and how he turned to me making me promise to take good care of him. Of course, Shanks was the only adult who I told about me coming from a different dimension, and Luffy, Ace, and Sabo were the only other people who knew about it. I smiled, we had a great time when I was stuck here, which was a long time, I had run into a portal right after Mom died, and I didn't get back until Luffy left the island. Suddenly coughs racked my body trembling, the paper crinkled. I moaned. Then I heard something... someone was crashing through the trees, a man with green hair ran past me.
"HEY!" I called snagging his attention.
"What?" He asked rudely
"I'm lost, do you know where this island is in comparison New World? It was supposed to be the first Island but I haven't seen any pirates," I asked him. He turned to me and I noticed three swords by his side.
"I'm a pirate," He said putting a threating hand on his sword opening it slightly.
"Ah! So I am in the right place! Then would you know someone that goes by..." I dug out the wanted poster, " 'Straw Hat Luffy?'" I asked reading the name. He leveled the sword at me,
"What do you want with my captain," He asked and I beamed
"Can you take me to him?" I asked eagerly. He looked taken back, "I'm his sister!" I said he lowered the sword slightly. Then a orange haired lady came up behind us
"ZORO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING! LEAVE THAT POOR GIRL ALONE!" She shouted at him,
"Are you part of Luffy's crew too?" I asked looking her over. She looked at me again.
"I'm the straw hat's navigator. Who are you?" She asked. I smiled,
"I'm Luffy's sister," She looked uncertain but nodded,
"Right, well Luffy ran off so I'm not really sure where he is, said he felt someone," Suddenly a reindeer ran over to Nami.
"Hi!" I said to him. He jumped and hide behind Nami, backward, "Who is this Nami?"
"She says she's Luffy's sister," Nami explained.
"Oh! Hello, I'm Chopper!" He said coming up to me,
"Nice to meet yo-" Another set of coughs racked my body, my vision watered, and bringing my hand up to my face I wiped the blood off of my mouth. I winced at there expressions,
"Sorry, I'm-" The world started to spin, I laughed awkwardly, my vision blurring and ears started to ring, "S-so-rry" I said drifting off my eyes closed, and then black.
"She claimed to be Luffy's sister-,"
"He still isn't back-,"
I heard voices trying to hold onto consciousness,
"She's waking up," One of the voices warned. I opened my eyes, then cringed at the light. I looked around,
"Wh-where am I?" I asked looking around. There was a woman with black hair, a cyborg with blue hair, Chopper, a guy with swirly eyebrows, the orange-haired girl from before, a guy with a long nose, and a skeleton.
"You're on the straw hats ship," The cyborg said.
"You say you're Luffy's sister?" The woman with the black hair asked I nodded
"Lived with him and my two brothers for a while," I said
"Excuse me, may I see your panties?" The skeleton asked,
"AHHHHH SKELETON TALKS!" I screamed startled. I placed my head in my hands feeling a headache coming on, of course, Luffy had to have a skeleton friend,
"HEY! WHERE IS EVERYONE!" I heard a familiar voice question. I shot up
"Hey! You shouldn't be up!" Chopper protested I ignored him darting towards that voice, I felt heard everyone follow me. When I flung open the door Luffy's back was to me, but I pounced anyways tears streaming down my face, hugging him tightly.
"HEY! LET ME GO!" He yelled struggling, but I didn't I just squeezed him tighter. I heard astonished mutters go out among the small crowd, "Can't! Breathe!" He finally gasped out. I released him. He turned around to see the culprit
"LUCY!" He cried I smiled at him through my tears,
"I'm back," I said, "Just like I promised," I held up my hand, "See?" He grabbed my hand inspecting the emblem.
"YOU DID IT!" He exclaimed and I chuckled,
"I've come to help you on your adventure now," Luffy turned to the swirly eyebrow
"Sanji! Let's have a feast! We have a new crewmate!" He exclaimed
"Sure, thing Captain," Sanji responded lighting a cigarette. I smiled remembering something
"Hey Luffy, didn't you say I would become Captain," I said
"NO!" Luffy pouted I laughed
"Don't worry, I won't hold it against you, just know that I won the bet got it?" I teased,
"You cheated," He said, "You used-" I covered his mouth and slightly shook my head
"I used my brain, that's not cheating Luffy," I said, then I turned to the rest of the crew, he took my hand off of his mouth
"No, you used-" I covered his mouth again
"I'm going to steal my brother, we need to catch up," I said laughing awkwardly, and hurrying off the boat, dragging Luffy with me. Once we got far enough away I released him
"What was that for?"
"I need you to keep me and my powers secret Luffy,"
"But why?" He wined, "They're so cool!" He reached for my keys, I jerked back. He cleared his throat, murmuring 'right'
"Luffy promise me that you won't say a word, swear on your hat," I said his hand flew up to his hat.
"B-ut" I leveled a gaze at him
"I promise I won't tell anyone," He mumbled pouting again. I breathed a sigh of relief
"Thank you Luffy, I know you trust them but I just met them, and if I do tell them I'll be risking a lot more than my own life."
