When Taehyung turned around, he was speechless. Before him there was a hooded figure that ran out as soon as she saw him. Taehyung did not know what to do in this situation. He couldn't leave Jungkook behind, but he had to catch this strange figure himself.

"Tae ..." The boy heard Jungkook's crying voice and knew what he was going to do.  He knelt down next to Jungkook and hugged him as usual.

"Alright, Kookie will be alright."

"But Yoongi ..." Jungkook wanted to say something, but Taehyung still silenced him, not wanting to hear the truth.

He suspected what the boy would say to him in a moment.

"Don't worry about Yoongi, he can handle it. Probably whoever kidnapped him will not torment him forever.” Taehyung reassured the scared boy. He was horrified by what had happened.

"It's not that ... Yoongi is behind us ...."

When Taehyung heard he quickly turned around, releasing Jungkook from his arms. His friend might have understood it in a different way, and Taehyung did not want the two to start arguing, the more that he needed Jungkook and Yoongi.

"Do not disturb yourselves, I'll wait and I don't have time to do anyway, since my boyfriend and friend decided to cuddle a little. It's amazing that some time ago you didn't like each other at all, or rather hated each other. Where did this sudden change come from?"

Taehyung felt sweat begin to form on his chin. It was bad, and Yoongi always understood everything bad.

He quickly moved away from Jungkook and looked at Yoongi with apologetic eyes.

"Sorry man, but Jungkook just got scared of this strange character and I had to do something."

"Don't make excuses, tell me Taehyung, who it was?"

Taehyung did not know what to answer, because in the end he preferred to hug the jittery boy instead of running after him.

"I don't know. I couldn't see his or her face, and soon this figure ran out of here and you showed up a moment later. I didn't even have time to react properly."

Yoongi looked at the two boys with a warning in his eyes. He felt sorry that he had not arrived in time in time. After all, Jungkook was his boyfriend, and he should always be with him when he was hurt even in the slightest.

"Maybe I'll run after him." Taehyung said, and he was gone.

He preferred to leave Yoongi and Jungkook alone.  He knew the moment was probably extremely important to them, and he just didn't want to stop.  He ran as fast as he could in his legs, even jumped over the fence, but it was to no avail.  First of all, he didn't know which way the character was running, and it was still some time ago, so it was more likely that he was gone, but Taehyung decided to try and somehow catch up with the person who was hiding under the hood.

Unfortunately, as he suspected, no one was there anymore or the character simply chose the other side of the escape.  Taehyung hoped to be able to solve at least a quarter of the puzzle soon, because he hadn't known anything so far.  He was still stuck between all the unknowns and the traces that weren't there, he guessed nothing, and the time was getting shorter and shorter.

Jongsuk was kidnapped a week ago, so they had less and less time to save him, and the killer was cunning and intelligent.  The only option now was to find out the truth about Abby and talk to Jungkook, which Taehyung had to do as quickly as possible.
