Chapter 23

After what Taehyung heard, he had no choice. He had to find out the truth, no matter what it was supposed to be.

He grabbed Jimin's hand and started leading him to the front door.

"Where are you taking me, eh?" Asked the surprised boy. Today he just wanted to spend the evening watching movies with a new friend.

"Take it easy Jimin, today is Friday, forgot? We don't have time to waste, although I know that this woman will lose her life today, we won't be able to save her, but we can try to get closer to Jeon, I have a week to find out the name of the murderer, and then we will have the last fight."

"Why are you talking about us, I don't want to get into this case any more than necessary," Said the frustrated boy.

"Jimin, we both know that you are already quite involved in this matter, so we have to get through it together, and if you want to get Yoongi, you have to show him that you are strong and that you can handle any situation."

Jimin nodded slightly. He did not hide that he cared a lot about the pathologist, so he had to prove himself in some way, and Taehyung did not throw words to the wind.

"Okay, what are you gonna do?"

"Take me to Jeon, Jimin."

The boys pursued only one specific goal in silence. They had to meet Jungkook in the end and explain a few things to themselves, even if now was not the right time for it, which they found out right after they got there.

The building looked abandoned from the outside already, and Taehyung knew Jeon would probably be on the verge of exhaustion now. Although this was not an operation after the administration of the medicine, the human was losing control of himself and had some consequences, which is why the medicine was so difficult to obtain.

Taehyung went straight inside without waiting for Jimin. This one had to park anyway, and he didn't have time to waste, he had to get to Jeon's house as soon as possible, but it could take a long time for Jungkook to even show him this room.

Today he just wanted to apologize to him.

He did not expect to hear screams spreading throughout the building, irritating his delicate ears. Jimin hadn't warned him that Abby's reaction to the medicine could be that drastic.

He tried to find the source of the noise and managed to do so after a while.  As he climbed up to the second floor, he swallowed the lumps in his throat, because this is where it was the loudest and the atmosphere was really dense.

Before he could enter the appropriate room, a screaming girl ran out of one of the rooms, who, seeing the presence of a third and unknown person, came and hid behind Taehyung's back, terrified.

The boy stood mesmerized when Jeon emerged from the same room, who was extremely sexy as hell at that moment.  Sweat was shining on his forehead, and his eyes showed that he was probably irritated by the behavior of his sister.

He was holding a syringe probably containing the medicine in his hands, and Taehyung thought he was going crazy, why couldn't he have a nurse like that when he was sick?

"Taehyung what are you doing here, better step aside if your life is nice.  Abby, get out and don't hide behind that idiot." He said, already pissed off.

"Who are you calling a retard, idiot?  You see your sister must be afraid of you."

"I'm about to lose my patience ..."

"And what will you kill me like her?" The stressed girl shouted, simultaneously asking.

“Shut up!” Jungkook tried to approach the girl, but Taehyung shielded the girl's entire body with his.

"Jungkook please calm down and leave for a while, okay? I'll talk to Abby and we'll get back to you soon."

Jeon walked over to them and looked into Taehyung's eyes, his face softening completely, as if Taehyung was acting on him like a sedative.

He nodded and left them walking into the same room they had both left from earlier.  The boy turned to the girl and grabbed her shoulders.  Abby was trembling, but then she looked at Taehyung with her eyes full of tears.

"Do not be afraid and tell me what Jungook wants to do bad to you, I will yell at him in a moment, take it easy."

The girl smiled because Taehyung was very funny when he spoke like that.

“Oppa, I don't know you, but I think you know my brother very well. It's just that Jungkook wants to inject me something without even telling me what it is."

“Wait here, okay?” The boy asked, and after the girl nodded, the young detective walked towards the room where a subdued Jeon was sitting on a decaying chair.

Taehyung quickly approached him, wanting to talk to him once and for all.  He didn't expect Jungkook to hug him and his hands tightly clasped around his waist.

"Tell me how can I convince her to take this medicine? Please help me convince her you yourself are well aware of what it is like to see your sister dying."

"Yes, but wait for a minute, how do you know that? I haven't told anyone about my sister before. " The boy said, stepping away from Jungkook.

"I'll explain it to you soon, but please convince her, you will get something to encourage."

Taehyung raised his head in surprise, looking at the sparkling eyes of Jeon, something completely did not suit him in his behavior, and then something happened that Taehyung in his dream would not even expect to see. Jungkook came closer and kiss him.

“What the ...” Taehyung was about to curse when Jungkook put his hand on his hip.

"I'll explain it to you later, I promise," Jungkook pressed his lips against the other boy once more and pushed him lightly towards the door.

Taehyung stepped out into the corridor shocked and flushed, but he didn't even think that the two kisses would mess his head up so much.

Why did some strange relationship develop between them?

“Abby, you listen to me, did Jeon even make you aware that you are sick?” He asked, and the girl looked at him questioningly.

"Oppa, what's happened?"

"Hmm, I thought so. You have to talk to your brother, I thought you knew everything from the beginning, but when I saw you so surprised it didn't escape my attention that you probably didn't know anything, but you didn't wonder how Jeon was looking for something in an abandoned hospital?"

"Well I knew that he was looking for a medicine there, but our mother is terminally ill, I did not know that it is genetically inherited, but wait ... is Jungkook sick then too?" She asked almost crying, and at that moment he did not know, how to behave.

If Jeon was sick, why would he want to save his sister and not himself, and what the hell was that kiss all about?

I myself am surprised by these chapters seriously, after reading it all for the second time I wonder who wrote it, it's not me.

Apparently my mind thinks by itself without consulting me, and I think I have a split personality.

I know one thing, I really did not expect this kiss and even Jungkook surprised me, let alone Taehyung feeling.
