Each case had a different similarity. They all wanted to catch the criminal and put him in jail right away, but they didn't know what was really in evidence, or what was their guess. They were looking for a needle in a haystack, and they were all close to the murderer. The start of the murders was considered to be the day when the first murder was reported to them, but it began much earlier than they thought.
Evidence was hung all over Kim Taehyung's apartment. The young detective's joy with each new trace he found generated in him an indomitable euphoria and a desire to catch the worst murderer in Korean history, but it was not easy. There was a lot at stake, and not only private detectives took part in it.
Kim Taehyung was a puppet in the hands of the police, he provided evidence for them, although he had none of it. Some people wanted to work with him, but could not. The boy focused only on intuition in his work. He was extremely thorough in what he did, and his every move was prudent and courageous.
However, there were a few volunteers who wanted to fight him and began to look for their own evidence on their own, focusing solely on them.
One of the supervisors of the team was Jeon Jungkook himself. In his cases, he made use of the evidence collected by himself and his team, unable to bear when someone used only his intuition, which could drag anyone into a dead end.
He did not care if anyone liked him, he collected hard evidence that was combined into one whole without giving any fear of not solving the puzzle. Jeon Jungkook was an extremely gifted man, but he did not understand certain important details during his investigations. He didn't know how to be careful, and his entire team had to work at an express pace.
More than once, some of the members of his team, who analyzed everything and found new traces, were unable to sleep at night. Exhausted to the limit, they lost their sanity concentrating only on the evidence, and although there was little, they kept digging the subject until they finally found that one particular clue that led them to the end of their investigation.
Kim Taehyung did not agree with their principles, his intuition always led him where he needed to be. He never regretted committing any key mistake in his affairs, and the joy of his profession spurred him on. His forte was logic, which he had not seen anywhere in his opponent.
When asked about his willingness to join Jeon Jungkook's team, he immediately refused. There was no way the two would start working together, they couldn't even get along, leading to a quarrel at every possible meeting.
Returning to Taehyung from the morning he did not know what to put his hands in. His murder case had been dragging on for two years, he still did not know what else the murderer could go to. No one cared about his assumptions, and the other idiot was closer to a solution than Kim himself. The police supposedly told them to cooperate with each other, but they strongly disagreed with each other, and Jungkook's confidence pushed Taehyung away from him even more. He had tried to work with him once before and it ended tragically. Besides, Taehyung was fed up with arguing with him.
He looked again at the picture of the body taken the day before. All the details, the scar on the victim's arm indicated that this work belonged to a murderer who still did not give up, wanting to show the world his miraculous murders.
The victims' bodies were thoroughly washed and their faces looked as if they were asleep. The bodies didn't even have blood on them, as if someone wanted them to appear alive and into a coma.
The only similarity in all these crimes was the scar on the right arm of the dead. Each victim had this particular mark that had the same shape.
Though it was a scar, it was shaped like a snowflake that, though tiny, was exquisitely beautiful and accurate. Nobody knew what the killer's leitmotif was, but Taehyung's intuition prompted him to return to the scene of the crime again. He knew, however, that it would not be as easy as he thought.
