Enough (Bendy Character Story)

Ch.11

Bendy POV

Gracie and I stood at the Fair port waiting. Surprisingly, it didn't take as much convincing as I thought it would. I guess I shouldn't be surprised he agreed to this, I mean we had a history together. I saw how eager my little muffin was getting as people began to walk out and the two of us kept an eye out for him. I spotted his hat then his ears as his whole self came into my view.

"There he is!" I say smiling big as Gracie became supper excited jumping up and waving.

"Felix! Felix!" She called out as I did as well soon catching his attention as we waved our hands. He smiled as he sped walk over to where the two of us were. I raised an arm as he engulfed me and Gracie into a hug.

"Man you're lucky I like you. That was the most preposterous trip I've ever taken! Change a flight, rent a car, such precautions my devil darling." Felix laughed as I nuzzled my face into his shoulder. It felt so good to see a familiar face and to have a hug like this. Once we pulled apart he immediately picked up Gracie who clung to him, and it was just the sweetest sight.

Narrator POV

While the three were happily being reunited, unbeknownst to them they were being watched by Mickey who was in his car. He was asleep having been tired from all the traveling he'd been doing to locate them, but the minute he heard Bendy's voice he woke up seeing them and now what they look like. He saw Felix go up to the two and felt a smug satisfaction seeing he finally found them. He started his car as he prepared to stalk the three to let Cuphead know where she was.

Bendy stood by her workplace on the docks watching Felix and Gracie playing together. Gracie was trying to sneak up on him, but Felix caught her off guard picking her up playfully as she giggled. Bendy felt a real smile plaster on his face as Felix had Gracie jump into his arms off the boat by the dock where he stood, hearing her laugh playfully as the two spun in a small circle.

"Hey, you guys as hungry as I am?" Bendy asked walking over to the two who looked her way nodding eagerly. While they discussed what to get, Mickey was a distance away on another dock snapping pictures of them to send to Cuphead. He knew this would rile his blood, but he wanted to know what was going on, so now he will. 

Felix and Bendy continued to eat their lunch as Gracie already finished. The girl was full of energy today, so she ate fast. She practiced her basketball dribbling skills as the two watched while eating. She loved basketball, and Bendy couldn't wait for the chance to put her in a little league to increase her skill levels.

"Seems like she's doing great." Felix says as he ate a bit of his tuna sandwich. Bendy smiled, nodding in agreement as she watched her dribble her ball.

"How bout you? You doing okay? Cut off from everybody, can't talk to your friends." Felix asked as he directed his attention to Bendy who folded his arms in his lap leaning forward.

"Gracie's safe." Bendy said simply, showing he wasn't worried about his own well being as long as her daughter was doing good and protected. Felix looked down understanding, but couldn't help but worry for her.

"So. Cuphead is. When is this custody thing?" Felix asked not wanting to upset Bendy with questions about him, but also wanting to know what was going to happen.

"Couple months. I'll have to present myself as a female though." Bendy said with food in his mouth as he looked down at his plate. Felix nodded as he closed his container being done. Had he said he was non-binary, the court might not see him fit as the full custody parent, so showing up as a woman would be the best route.

"Right. They favor the "mother" anyway." Felix said, having a bit of anger at the fact Bendy couldn't present himself for who she really is. She didn't care much about labels like he, she, or they. As long as she was seen as neither one completely, it was fine.
