despite chloe's advice i stand in front of zoe's apartment door.
i knock on the door and wait patiently for her to open the door. soon enough, the door opens revealing zoe.
her eyes widen once she notices it's me. "billie? why are you here" she asks
"i just wanted to talk about everything" i say
"come in" she steps aside and i walk in
we go to sit down on her sofa. "so...." she trails off
"i should've at least texted you. i feel bad about that."
"i already know you don't like me billie. i didn't care about the response" she say
"yeah...i don't like you but i was your friend. i know our friendship can never return due to you liking me right now but in the future maybe we can be friends again. i will admit it will take me long as hell to give over the shit you called me"
"billie, i don't just like you. i love you. this won't go away no matter how much i try. i'm sorry" she say
"it can though"
"are you not fucking listening? i'm in love with you billie. love doesn't go away that quickly, it takes years to go away." she say frustrated
"maybe...distract yourself with other people."
"no no, this friendship is over billie. i can't stand to sit there and pretend i don't love you while you kiss and be with chloe. i can't pretend that i don't want to kiss you right now" she say
i nod my head in understanding. i stand up and take one last look at her before leaving out her apartment.
