i woke up this morning to an empty side of the bed beside me. i know she's at class but my professors canceled my classes for today.
i continue scrolling through instagram and i come across a post from chloe.

i get out of her bed and head inside the bathroom. i pee and wash my hands before washing my face.
i leave out the bathroom and then leave out chloe's room.
i head to the kitchen and open the refrigerator. i take out the milk and look at the expiration date. luckily its not expired. i go the the pantry and grab cinnamon toast crunch box.
i pour the cereal first which is the CORRECT way and then pour my milk, i grab a spoon and stab my cereal with it for a minute before scooping some in the spoon and eating it.
i turn around and i flinch at the sight of laura standing there.
she chuckles before saying "in my kitchen again eating my food, you have no manners i see"
"if you wanna be technical this is chloe's kitchen...she bought the house and you're paying rent to her" i say
"you got me there" she shrugs "but that's my cereal..."
"oh well, deal with it" i say not giving a single fuck in the world
"you have no home training, who raised you? whoever did, didn't do a good job" she say
"and who did your lashes? you need a refund" i say scrunching my face up
"no manners at all" she say
"yo mom"
"ugh" she groans frustrated "get out my house!"
"um...not yours" i sigh before continuing to eat my cereal
