chloe pov

i'm standing outside the building of the talent agency with nerves running throughout my body. i completed my finals and now i have more pressure with how this will go.

i take a deep breath in before walking inside the building. i stop at the desk at the front where a woman with blonde hair sits.

"hi, i'm chloe and i'm here to speak with jane." i say

"ah yes, i remember jane telling me about you. you seem to have really impressed jane with your talent. i wish you luck. her office is on the third floor, room 110" the woman tells me smiling

"thank you so much!" i smile back before heading to the elevators.

i press the button and wait for the elevator before getting in. once i arrive to the third floor i walk down the hall looking for the room.

the door is wide open and i stand in front of the doorframe. "hi" i say

the woman looks up from her computer and smiles standing up. "hello chloe. it's good to see you here. come in, close the door behind you"

i come in closing the door and she holds out her hand to give me a handshake and i give her one.

"sit sit!" she say

i sit down in the chair across from her desk. "as you know, im jane and im the owner of this agency. we have many different agents here but i would like to be yours. i visited your school after hearing about the musical and i was very impressed with you. it takes a lot for me to be impressed by one, i only agent the best. the ones who i know will be successful. you may recognize some of my clients on this wall." she say pointing at the wall of the recognizable stars.

a few of them was scarlett johansson, jenna ortega, masari martin, yara shahidi and storm reid.

"wow" i say speechless

"with that being said would you like me to be your agent? of course i have three contact here for you to read yourself. i get 20% of your earnings on each role i help you land. the rest is all yours and i will get you the best roles out there that best fit you" she say before handing me a thick contract.

"i would but can you give me a few days to look over this. i will come back and sign it in front of you after i make sure i agree with everything present." i say knowing im going to read, im going to get my mom to read it and maggie to read it. maybe even finneas to read it.

"of course! i have no problem with that chloe. that's very smart of you but i promise there's no shady stuff in there" she smiles

"thank you! thank you for the offer jane!!" i smile before standing up

she stands up too and we shake hands before i grab the contact and leave out her office. that went well.

i smile to myself as i enter the elevator. a man stands in there with me and asks me "i'm guess things went good?"

"amazing actually" i say

"i'm anthony" he say doing a greeting nod

"i'm chloe"

"so how old are you?" he asks "you look young"

"i'm 22, i guess you can say young. i'm a senior in an arts school" i say

"you must be very talented to be be impressive at that age. i'm 36, i'm an agent here. wait, you said you were attending a performing arts school? which one?"

"the greatest here. none other than, AMDA." i say proudly

"oh wow!! my sister is a professor there, have you ever heard of addison williams? she's 26 and she also attended that college. i on the other hand attended another college out of state."

oh yeah i definitely know your sister. we had sex!! while i was her student!!

"yes!! she was my professor. i just took my final exam for her the other day." i say

"wow, um she's pretty good with all of this stuff, as so am i. would you like it if we all went out somewhere, maybe like a coffee shop and i can give you all the insiders of having an agent." he asks

"yeah i can do that" i force a smile. the truth is facing professor williams would be awkward as fuck.

"wanna swap phones to get numbers? i'll put you,my sister and i into a group chat so we can communicate from there" he suggests

i hand him my phone and he hand his over to me and i save my number into a contact. after exchanging phones, we step out the elevator.

i make my way out the building and into my car and immediately call billie. however, when the call immediately gets declined my eyebrow raises. so i do what i always do when someone declines my call, i call them again.

she declined again.

so i type out a text to her.
