I groan before I raise the covers from my body and look over at Tracy who is still gaming and has paid no attention to me for the past hour.
Little shit.
Over the past hour that Tracy has been gaming. I have been trying to get some sleep (even if it's a bit) but unfortunately, I couldn't. I'd say the paranoid attack mostly sobered me up. You'd think after chugging down a whole glass of milk, I'd be all dizzy dizzy, but all the milk did was leave a sour taste in mouth after some time (I'm thinking that milk thing is a myth). I even tried counting sheep, but that still didn't work. So instead, I kept rolling around the bed, uncovering and covering myself, and watching Tracy play the game once in a while, and damn is she good. I hate how she's ignoring me so well, she's probably been playing for so long she's consumed by the game.
I sigh before I roll towards the nightstand and reach for my phone, 68%. I unlock the phone and slide onto the screen before I tap the nameless app. It shows me the association logo and shows me a loading screen before a notification pops up in the app.

Great.
I press the home button of my phone, leading me back to the menu of the phone before I drop the phone down with a sigh. I turn away from the phone's position before I turn back and lift it. I put in my passcode again and it opens before I go to my messages and click my mum's thread and stare at the unanswered message with a small smile.
Mum: Did you come over last night? Saw your result, good job btw.
I giggle a bit before I tap the write a message part of the screen and a keyboard pops out.
Me: Yeah, didn't stick around long, left early in the morning sorry.
My stomach turns as I read my lie again.
Mum: Aw, you should've stayed a bit you're missing a whole lot.
She types. I'm about to reply before I see her message bubble pop up with three dots inside and I wait for her to finish typing. The message bubble disappears and a selfie of my mum and Tony about to put Tacos in their mouth pops up with other people in the background all seated in a restaurant setting making me giggle and smile brightly. Dang, she's right. I'm missing a whole lot. I can't even tell you how much I love Tacos. And especially at the restaurant they were currently eating. El Luigi, damn, those guys Tacos and everything else is made into nothing but perfection, sometimes I even doubt that no one at Luigi's is an Angel. Because dang, is their food heavenly.
Ever taken Ice-cream with cinammon crunch, vanilla essence, nuts and strawberries without getting sick? Well, that can only happen if Luigi makes it for you.
Unhealthy, I know, but believe me it's the best $90 dollars you'll ever spend in your life.
I click the OMG emoji while biting my lower lip, trying to hold back my stupid smile.
Me: You refused to take me to Luigi's for months, well, not only do I know how much you hate me but now I also know you've always wanted a son. Instead of beautiful daughter like me.
She doesn't reply for a while so I keep my phone down until I hearing an iPhone chime and pick it back and click her thread again and I see a GIF of a cat shaking it's head like it was dancing. I laugh out loudly before I tap the screen again and begin to write.
Me: Can you send more pictures? And please make them crazy as hell.
Mum: You got it, darling.
I wait a bit before she sends 5 more pictures and I immediately tap the first one. The first one has Tony taking the selfie with a charming smile and a thumbs up while my mum is chugging down a whole plate of Tacos with a woman at the back watching her in horror making me laugh. I scroll to the second one and see her and Tony crossing their hands together like a couple, both putting Tacos in their mouth while smiling brightly. I scroll to the third one and see my mum and Tony with milkshake moustaches while both are smiling brightly. I scroll to the fourth one and see my mum putting the bunny ears behind some unsuspecting random guys head and Tony like he was about to laugh. The last one is just a simple picture of Tony and my mum smiling, both of them charming as ever with their bright blue eyes and blonde hair. I smile a little before I set the last picture as my lockscreen and wallpaper before I go back to her thread and see my mum's new message.
