"Wake up," I say as I shake Tracy and all she does is groan and turn around in response.
"Wake the F up Tracy," I say before slamming her with a pillow lightly making her yelp while in the covers putting a smug smile on my face.
There, awake.
She groans and turns repeatedly before she finally sits up and stares at me with bloodshot eyes. Tracy looks like the perfect example of a lady who had a very long day. Her hair is disheveled. Her eyes are red and look extremely tired and her lips are slightly chapped which she uses her tongue to rub on after she notices as well.
"What? Whaatt?" She asks me while rubbing her eyes making me set the pillow aside and fold my arms and stare at her.
"Someone seems in a grumpy mood this morning," I say with a smug smile and she pauses her hand rubbing her eyes, and looks at me.
"And someone seems all cheery all of a sudden," She says and I shake my head before I start to walk away from her. She continues to rub her eyes before she pauses again and looks at me.
"Wait, did you just say morning?" She asks me as I walk to the nightstand area and lift my backpack off the floor setting it down on the bed.
"Yup. You slept throughout yesterday. I knew you were tired but that was on another level" I say and she just keeps staring at me like she can't still believe it.
Yes, Tracy did sleep all through the day. Unfortunately, I couldn't do the same so I just stayed awake and kept scrolling through my phone while waiting for Cynthia's text and even tried Mortal Kombat out (I now have an official crush on Kenshi) I eventually got bored of staying alone and at the moment the thought struck me, like a knight in shining armor, Paul came back with some groceries, some new video games for himself and other stuff my eyes didn't quite catch on too. We ate dinner together and laughed a lot, I was so glad when he didn't bring "Elizabeth" into any of our conversations. Except for the time, he asked where she was and I told him in a body bag that made him have this unreadable look before I told him I was joking. He eventually got tired and went to bed and I decided to do the same but unfortunately, I wouldn't sleep (Even after taking sleeping pills) so I just kept shifting and turning on the bed until morning. Where I took a shower, put on some new clothes (a plain black shirt, jeans, and a pair of combat boots), and eventually got the text from Cynthia with the address which I checked in google maps, and to my greatest surprise, it was actually a bit far from here but closer to Delilah's house, maybe I'd pay her a visit once this is done.
Hopefully, she doesn't rat me out.
"Come on, get up we're going," I tell her while rummaging through my backpack and she looks at me, her eyes placed in slits.
"Going where?"
"Out," I say putting my car keys in my pocket before I toss her a plain black shirt and jeans too along with clean underwear (yes I didn't forget this time) and her towel towards her. I look at the cloth I toss at her and look back at myself and notice how I picked out the exact same thing. Guess I wasn't into dresses when I was a kid too, huh? The towel lands on her face and the other pieces of clothing land on the bed. She takes the towel off her face and stares at me with a groan.
"Why?" She asks in a whiny tone.
"Because I don't own this place and you're a walking target," I say while dragging the gun and placing it on top of the clothes in the bag. Before zipping it close and sitting on the bed.
"Then why did you pack so many clothes before we came here?"
"Cause I had planned on making stops on the way, y'know to rest and stuff like that but luckily we wouldn't need them," I say as I fall down on the bed, my eyes facing the ceiling.
