dear diary,

that voice from the alley that spiderman had still rings at my head at night, reminding me that i don't know who he is. i hate not knowing someone as cool as him personally. i'll eventually find out who he is. i have to, or i'll go insane.

sincerely, y/n.

1 month later:

I was sitting in math taking notes when a note came flying toward me. I look over in the direction it came from, and there was Peter. Head down, laughing. I could tell he was the one who sent it. He's not very good at hiding things.

Y/n, meet me outside in ten minutes please. I have something to tell you. -Peter.

I looked back at him, and this time he was looking at me. I nodded my head and raised my hand. "May I use the restroom?" The teacher said yes and I walked out. I sat in the bathroom for five minutes before heading to the courtyard. I saw Peter sitting on a table, holding something red.

That's when it clicked. Peter's Spiderman! I walked over to him casually like I wasn't expecting anything. He hid his suit and turned around to face me. "Hey. Glad you came. We need to talk. I've been keeping something from you and I probably shouldn't have. I'm-" I opened my mouth to speak so he stopped talking. "You're spiderman." I blurted.

His eyes went wide. "What? No. Where'd you get that idea from?" He said fast. I nodded. "Oh. Okay. Go on." I said with sarcasm.

He continued to say he wasn't lying about not being spiderman for a few minutes. I held my hand up to stop him. "Peter. You literally slept at my house. And you sleep talk. Don't try to get out of this." His face got red. "What did I say?" He almost whispered. "You were talking about being spiderman. Was that not obvious?" I laughed. I pushed his shoulder. "Calm down, Peter. I'm kidding. I don't completely think you're Spiderman." He looked relieved and wasn't so embarrassed now. "Well as I was saying-" He got cut off by a loud bang.

We both looked at the front gates of the school and there was fire. "Omg Peter. We have to do something." I looked back at him to see the red and blue suit. "Oh my god. I knew it." I yelled. He laughed and took off into the building. I started freaking out and called 911.

The fire department came, and so did everyone's parents. Including my aunt. She started rushing towards me when I held my hand out to stop her. "Aunt Becca, I'm fine. I was outside when it happened. I was the one who called 911. Calm down, please." I tried to calm her down when Peter came back. "Hey ma'am. She's right. Everything is under control all thanks to y/n here. I have already gotten everyone out." He reassured her.

"I'm so glad y/n wasn't in there." I heard. "I'm glad I wasn't in there either." I said back. Peter jerked his head toward me. "What?" I said. "That wasn't said.. That was thought." He whispered. My eyes widened. He took my hand. "I'm gonna need you to hold on. Ma'am, I have to take y/n somewhere for a little while. I promise she's in safe hands. Trust us." Peter told my aunt. She nodded her head and he swung me across the city.

I had my eyes closed the entire time, until we stopped moving. I opened my eyes to see the Avengers tower. "Oh, you have got to be kidding me." I looked at the building and it looked like the tallest one in New York. We walked inside holding hands, so he could show me around. That's when I saw him.

My dad.

He was cooking something, for more than himself. Then walked in three other people. A woman, with short, red hair. A man with arrows on his back. And a regular man. Except he was the only man I knew out of the three. Tony Stark. "Hey Tony. We have a problem. I need you to run tests on my friend. We were close to an explosion, and then she literally read my mind." Peter blurted out. Tony whipped his head around and took my hand. "Alright. Who are you, and do you know anything about this building?" I shook my head no when we walked into a lab.

I ended up falling asleep, but woke up shortly after due to people around me. "Who is she?" "I don't know. Maybe just a friend of Peter's." They knew Peter? I opened my eyes and they all got quiet. There were 11 people in the room. If I had remembered carefully, there were 12 or more rooms that Peter had talked about on the way here. I knew who was missing.

My dad wasn't there. I don't even think he recognized me. Everyone was still staring at me when Tony came to the bed I was in and started asking questions. "Hey are you alright? We kinda lost you back there." I nodded my head and told him I was fine. I started looking around for my dad. "Looking for something?" I turned my head and there he was.

Bucky Barnes. Except now he had a metal arm. I wondered what that was about. I got up and ran to him. I gave him the biggest hug I had ever given. Everyone's eyes went wide. "You know her?" Peter asked. Bucky nodded. "She's my kid. I lost her years ago." He turned his head back to me and kissed my forehead. "Where's mom?" I asked.

His expression turned sad. Uh oh. This couldn't be good. "She died when I disappeared." I nodded my head in understanding. I looked around noticing all of the people I saw on the news daily.

Suddenly, I heard someone's thoughts. "She is insanely pretty." I laughed. "Thank you." I knew this would get a reaction from the person who said it. I looked around for whoever wasn't confused. There was Captain America hiding his face, while everyone else had a raised eyebrow or wide eyes.

"Y'know, I forgot you could read minds for a second." He said. Peter chimed in saying, "What did he say?" My face got red and I didn't answer. Peter starting turning red too, but not in a good way. "Peter, are you okay?" I asked. He walked off into another room and just sat there.

I walked in right after him. "Peter. What's wrong?" I asked. He looked at me. "I don't like Steve doing that. Flirting with you when no one else knows." I furrowed my eyebrows. "Why not?" I asked. He looked away, knowing if he answered that question, there was a chance he would regret it. I walked over to him, sat beside him, and grabbed his face, turning it to look at me. I sat there holding his face, looking at him. Then I kissed him.

"Peter, stop getting so upset over a compliment. Steve and I just met. It's not like that." I reassured him. He nodded his head and grabbed mine. He kissed me again and I kissed back. I grabbed his hand, and walked out. We joined everyone again with bright red faces.

Everyone was confused, but started to walk out of the lab. I walked with Peter, until Tony stopped us. "Y/n, how would you like to stay with us for a little while? Just so we can fully understand what's going on and why." I turned around and laughed. "You're kidding right? Like you can't be serious." He looked confused. "Most of the time, I'm serious. Why would I joke about you reading people's minds?"

My eyes widened and I felt like I could faint. I nodded and called my aunt. "Hey. So, they need me to stay for a couple of weeks to monitor whatever's going on with me." She was upset about it, but she agreed to let me stay. "Okay, y/n. Cap, show her to her room, please. You'll be in the room in between Steve and Peter." Tony said. I nodded and started walking. Steve followed me. "Alright. Here we are. Can I help you find anything?" He asked. "Um, no thanks. But I am kinda hungry." I told him.

He turned around and walked out. "I'll be right back!" He yelled from the hall. I couldn't help but laugh.

I turned on a movie when Steve walked in. "I made you some pizza. It's my specialty. It's good. I promise." He said. I took it and started eating. He stood beside me. "Can I watch?" I nodded my head and patted on my bed for Steve to sit down.
