The Last Avenger.

Chapter 10

"Guys suit up. Now. My mom's coming and she's not far behind us." I told everyone. I looked at Peter and turned around to face my mom. I saw Bucky come to the balcony with us but I didn't want to see him so I walked to the couch and waited for her.

"Hey Tony. Do I still not have a suit?" I asked. He nodded and handed me a suitcase. I opened it to see a pink and purple fire-resistant suit. "Awesome." I whispered. I quickly put it on and got ready to fight.

Everyone sat in the living room when my mom arrived. "Well well well. The Avengers. I thought I'd never meet you." She then saw Bucky. "Hey Buck. Good to see you." She smiled. I looked at dad to see what he would do. He laughed. "Better than ever. At least I don't need a family to be happy." He said.

I looked at Steve knowing that hurt both him and me. I walked over to him so I wouldn't do anything stupid. I guess my mom noticed that. "So. You've got a boyfriend. Why was I not introduced?" She asked. "Because my dad kicked you out." I said. She understood. "So your father finally told the truth about why I left?" She questioned. I shook my head. I glared at him slightly then told her I read his mind.

"You have powers?? What are they?" She pryed. "Enough talking mother. What do you want from us?" I snapped. She frowned. "I just want my daughter back." She shot a blast at me sending me into Steve, which sent both of us into the wall. I got up and helped him up, walking together up to my mom.

I shot a blast at her, and that's when everyone started fighting. Wanda sent blasts from the stairs, while Thor swung his hammer at her, sending her off the balcony. Peter was waiting for her at the entrance to the tower outside. He webbed her to the wall next to the door when we all came outside.

"So what do we do with her?" I asked. "We lock her up. That's the only chance of getting any information out of her." Tony said. I looked up at him. He looked at me with an apologetic face. I nodded knowing he felt bad and picked her up.

After we brought her into a cell, I went to my room. I wasn't sure if anyone had followed but I didn't really care.

I knew someone followed as soon as I got into my room, so I turned ready to blast. It was my dad. I didn't put my hands down. Instead, i kept the same position until he held his hands in the air.

"It's just me, kid." He said. "That's the problem." I said, talking to myself.

"Look. I couldn't tell you yet. You and I had just started our relationship again. I didn't want to lose you." He pleaded. "Save it. Please. I don't care why you lied to me. I care that you even lied in the first place. I trusted you. Again. But I missed my mom too. And you destroyed any hope of seeing her again. So when I did, I was crushed because she was evil, and because you lied. So don't say anything else." I said as I shoved him out and slammed the door with my powers.

I got ready for bed and turned the light off when Steve came in and got in bed with me. "Oh hey. I forgot we agreed on this." We both laughed. "Are you okay?" He asked. I nodded.

"Just need to sleep. So lay down popsicle." I joked. He listened as I wrapped my arms around him and buried my head into his chest. "I could get used to this." He whispered. "I'm way ahead of you. If this doesn't happen tomorrow night, I'm coming for you." I laughed.

We finally got comfortable and drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, I woke up to my Tony ambushing me. Apparently Peter and I are going back to school today. "Why are we doing this? The whole point of at home learning is to learn. At. Home." I hissed.

Tony laughed. As he walked out, he shouted "Cap and Bucky will be teachers so they can keep an eye on you." I rolled my eyes.

I got out of bed and went to the shower. I turned the hot water on and waited for it to get hot when Steve walked in. "Goodmorning, beautiful." I smiled and started getting undressed.

He hugged me from behind and kissed my head. "I was gonna go head up there now, but maybe I need two showers today. That sound right?" He asked.

I started blushing and nodded. He got undressed and we took a 30-minute shower.

We got out and got dressed and walked back to the bedroom where Tony was standing. "You know teachers have to be there before the students right?" He asked Steve. Steve nodded. "Well yeah. But it's only 6:30. Teachers don't have to be there until 7." Steve smirked.

I tried not to laugh so I grabbed Steve's hand and went to the car. We busted out laughing when we got in.

Steve saw that Tony hadn't come so he got in the drivers seat and drove us off to school. I decided to text Tony to tell him we got tired of waiting.

Tony walked out to see the car gone. "Oh what the hell. I wanted my car back."

We got to the school 15 minutes early. Steve looked at me in the passenger seat. "You gonna be okay in here for like 30 minutes?" I nodded. "You don't have to worry about me, babe. I'm okay. It's not like someone's gonna hurt me in a school parking lot or anything." We both laughed.

"Okay. Be careful anyway. I love you." Steve said. My eyes widened a little. This was the first time he ever said it. "I love you too, capsicle." I grabbed his face and kissed him. I pulled away and pushed him out. "Get to class before you get in trouble." I laughed.

20 minutes later, everything went black.
