dear diary,
this morning, i woke up on a building with peter. we're dating. but my dad doesn't know yet. i don't know how i'm gonna tell him but i will. i have to. but me and peter took another step in our relationship. we did it. let's just pray nothing bad happens now.
sincerely, y/n.
Peter and I were waiting on the couch for breakfast when Nat walked in. "You're welcome for helping. That coulda been a disaster." She thought. I tried not to laugh and mouthed thank you. This morning, Dad was making breakfast. I'm assuming it was an emergency, because he's not very good at cooking. "Uh oh guys. We better call Waffle House or something. Bucky's cooking." Steve came in. Everyone laughed when they heard Steve. Bucky just glared at him.
"Come on guys. I'm not that bad at this." He said, looking at Steve. He looked back at the bacon on the frying pan burnt. "Okay, maybe I'm not the best. To Waffle House we go." Bucky yelled.
We all went out to eat breakfast and I thought this would be the perfect time. "Dad, you may not wanna hear this. But I have a boyfriend." I said, grabbing his attention. He gulped and his eyes widened. He didn't say anything so I was forced to read his mind.
"What? She's only 16. There's no way. I just got her back for her to be taken by some boy. I don't wanna lose her again. I can't."
I got scared, and then his face changed. He went from laughing, to a completely straight face, with no emotion. Steve got up from his seat and walked in front of me. Almost to protect me. "Steve? What's going on?" I asked.
"He looks like he did when he was with HYDRA. He didn't know who I was which meant he didn't know who you were either. But normally, for him to change back, they had to repeat a list of words to him. Like brainwash."
"Do those words happen to be German?" I asked. Steve nodded. I gulped and looked at Peter. "Spidey, it's your turn to protect." I said. He grabbed my waist and webbed us out of there. I didn't wanna leave Steve and the others but they've fought him before. I'm also emotionally involved.
Me and Peter went to his aunt's house. We figured Dad wouldn't find us there. He swung us into his room where his aunt was. His eyes went wide. "Spiderman? What are you doing here? How is Peter? I figured with him moving in with Tony, you may have seen him." She asked. Peter shook his head. "No ma'am. I haven't seen him recently. He's been dealing with online school since the school blew up."
"Okay. Who's this?" She pointed at me. "This is Y/n. She was in the middle of an attack. She's a friend of Peter's so I dropped her off here." Peter said. She nodded her head.
"Well, make yourself at home, y/n." I smiled. "Will do. Thanks." I said. She walked out.
"You're telling me she has no clue who you are??" I whispered. Peter shook his head. "If she knew, it would be dangerous for her. Criminals would come for her to get to me." I nodded my head. "Well, what do you wanna do while we wait for your dad to stop?" He asked. I shrugged my shoulders. I saw the playstation and Battlefront 2. I looked at him.
We played a few rounds when Tony swooped in with his suit. "Come on kids. You got a mission." I started freaking out. "Tony, I don't have a suit or training." He threw fabric at me. "Press the stone looking button." He said. I did as he said and it sort of vacuumed onto my body. It fit like a glove. Peter couldn't stop drooling. "Alright Spidey. You ready?" He grabbed my waist and flew us out.
We got to the street where my dad and the others were fighting. I read his mind. He was about to punch Steve. I jumped in front of Steve to block him. I caught his punch in my hand, and my eyes went wide. He couldn't move his hand. Like I had too strong of a hold on him. I let go of his hand and let it fly past me. I walked over to him, and punched him, knocking him out.
"Nice going, kid. Next time, tell us everything you can do. Not just one thing." Tony laughed. Steve had his mouth wide open just looking around. "Close your mouth before a fly goes in it, Capsicle." I laughed.
We put cuffs on my dad's hands and walked him into our ship, leaving for the tower.
"So you're telling me he can now just think of the words he needs to become the Winter Soldier?" I asked. Steve nodded his head. "He must have that power over himself now. Everyone else from HYDRA is dead so it's wired into his brain that he is HYDRA. If he gets out, he's gonna try to recruit more people. We can't let that happen. Not again."
I sat on the couch and turned on a movie, while Tony pulled Peter aside. I was going to read their minds, but that seemed serious so I decided not to.
Peter came back and sat down. I tried to hold his hand but he pulled away. I looked at him funny and tried again. He pulled away and went upstairs. I tried not to let it get to me, but I couldn't help it. My eyes started watering so I walked to the balcony.
An hour later, I heard someone walking to me. "I don't wanna hear it, Peter." I heard them laugh. "Lucky for me, I'm not Peter." I turned around to see Steve. He could see that my eyes were puffy and red. "Hey. He doesn't deserve you. He's a bratty kid. Come here." He pulled me into a hug.
I started to speak but he stopped me. "You don't have to say anything. Just go to your room and calm down or something. Give yourself some time. If you need anything, I'll be in my room." I nodded my head and went to my room.
After a few hours of sleep, I woke up. I tried to go back to sleep, but I couldn't. I walked over to Peter's door. I almost knocked until I read his mind. "I don't need her. I'm okay. She'll be okay."
I started crying again and ran to Steve's room. He was asleep so I just crawled in the bed and slept on the other side, crying myself to sleep. He woke up shortly after and saw me. He woke me up to figure out what happened.
"I woke up at like 1 and couldn't go back to sleep, so I went to go to Peter's room. Just to see if he was just mad at Tony or something.. I read his mind to see if he was awake before I knocked. He thought he didn't need me. That he was okay and I would be eventually." I said, my eyes tearing up again.
He pulled me into a hug while we were in his bed. Then, someone walked in. Peter. My eyes widened and I immediately moved away and out of the bed. "What the hell." Peter said. He ran out and I ran after him. "Y/n, he's not worth it. Remember that." I shook my head and continued after Peter.
"Peter, listen to me." He kept walking. "Peter. Please." He stopped.
"What? You wanna tell me that you like Steve? That we won't work? Say it already." I shook my head.
"Peter, you are so gullible. I went to Steve's room because I was hurt. He hugged me. He was comforting me. You hurt me. Whether or not either of us like it, you did. What happened to you not needing me? What happened to you being okay and me being okay eventually?" I said.
He starting crying. "I woke up and was about to come in your room. I read your mind before I knocked. I ran to Steve's room." I explained.
He started walking towards me. He grabbed my waist and starting making out with me. I almost stopped him, but honestly, I didn't want to. I broke the kiss to make my marks when he said "Up." I jumped up and he grabbed me midair, carrying me in his room. We were making out again on his bed and we took our shirts off. We continued making out and he starting grinding against me, pleading. I nodded my head and again, you know what happens next.
At least it was in a bed this time.
