The Last Avenger.

Chapter 11

The room was dark. I opened my eyes to see a purple hulk-looking guy and a blue robot girl. I squinted my eyes because of the light and covered it with my hand. "Rise 'n shine, sleepyhead." The purple hulk said. "What are you supposed to be? An oversized, dried-up grape?" I laughed. He grabbed me by my neck. "My name. Is Thanos. And you will obey me or die." He screamed. I scoffed at the thought. "So you're telling me I have to listen to you or I die?" I said. He nodded. "That's the plan." I laughed. "You are not that bright. I don't listen to anyone. They listen to me." I warned. 

"With what powers?" He asked. I shrugged my shoulders and tried making him sit down. It didn't work. "What the hell?" I said, looking down at my hands. He laughed. "You are not that bright." He mocked me. I rolled my eyes. "Where the hell am I?" I asked. He shrugged. 

"We're on Earth." The girl said. "No shit. I mean where on Earth are we?" I asked. She laughed and punched me in the face. "Don't treat me like I'm stupid. I'm the smartest person in the room." She hissed. "Clearly." I mumbled. 

*Back at school / Steve's POV*

I was putting everything on my desk when Peter came in. "Hey Peter. Where is Y/n?" He shrugged. "I thought she was with you." He said. I called her, but no answer. I thought maybe her phone might be dead. I went to the car and her stuff was there, but she wasn't. I went back inside to Peter. 

I walked in the classroom to see that Peter was the only one in the room. I locked the door behind me and turned the lights off so no students would try to come in. "Y/n isn't in the car. She was when I left. Her stuff is still there, though. Her phone, too." I told him. He called Tony. 

"Hey, Mr. Stark?" He said. "Steve and I think Y/n's been kidnapped. She isn't anywhere to be found and her phone and stuff is still in the car... No, sir. She doesn't like nature." I rolled my eyes at the fact that he knew everything about her. They continued talking for a minute, then Peter hung up the phone. "So?" I asked. 

"He's getting everyone to search the state." Peter said. "That includes us. You know that right?" I asked. He nodded his head and unzipped his jacket. "I was ready." He said. I unbuttoned my shirt. "I am too." I said. 

*Y/n's POV*

"Can you just let me go? Please?" I pleaded. "Tell me where the Avengers headquarters is. Only then I will let you go." Thanos said. "On Volmir. I swear." He laughed. "You're not very good at lying. But how do you know what Volmir is?" He questioned. "I don't know. I just overheard one of the Avengers talking about it." I shrugged. 

"Whatever. Nebula, you know what to do." He told the girl. She put a bag over my head and started to hit me with a bat. "Please, make it stop." I cried. I suddenly heard air. Like, air conditioning. "Can you turn the air down? I'm freezing." Nebula asked. "There is no air in here." Thanos said, suspicious. 

I looked up in the window above me to see a flash of blue. I widened my eyes at what I saw. Pietro. I thought. 

I looked around the room, pretending not to know what the noise was, and waited for Maximoff to do something. 

About 3 minutes later, Iron Man dropped down through the window. "Goodmorning, kidnapper. Goodnight, blueberry." He said, punching him. I winced, knowing it wouldn't even phase Thanos. "Was that supposed to hurt?" He said as he punched Tony. That's when Pietro showed up again. He sped toward me, carried me out, and went back. 

I waited for what felt like hours and they finally all came out. They were bruised up pretty bad, but I was just happy they made it. "What happened in there?" I asked. Tony shook his head. "Next time you get kidnapped, get kidnapped by a puny kid." I laughed. "I'll try." I took him on my shoulder and walked to an unoccupied car with everyone. I hotwired the car and drove off.

We got back to the tower just in time to see Steve start pacing around the living room. "I thought you were stronger than that Captain America." I shouted. He immediately looked at me. His face brightened and he came and hugged me. "Don't ever leave again." He said. 

"I can't necessarily control that. Besides, you were the one that left me in the car alone. With no one around." He smirked. He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tight. "I'm never letting you go again." He said, eyes closed. I hugged him back, then pulled away to look at him. "Good. You've got me wrapped around your pretty little finger." I said. I closed my eyes and kissed him. 

We went to the couch and laid down for a little while to watch a movie. "I'm getting a little tired. You tired yet?" He asked. I shook my head. "Not really. I've been asleep half the day." I laughed. He smiled. "Alright. Come to bed whenever you're ready." I smiled and grabbed my phone.

I was just scrolling through Instagram when Pietro sat beside me. "So. Are you okay? Did Thanos hurt you?" He asked. I looked at him funny, but brushed it off. "I'm fine. Thanks." I looked back at my phone when he continued talking. "Good. I'm Pietro. What's your name?" I looked kinda hurt. 

"You don't remember me?" I asked.

I started getting a flashback. 

Pietro takes my hand in his and kisses it as we walk down the street to the park. I look at him and smile as we arrive. He brings me to the swing where he sits down in front of me on the ground, me sitting in the swing. He starts to make out with me, but stops himself. "Y/n, I love you. You may not feel the same, but I needed you to know." I take his face in my hands and kiss him again. "Pietro, don't act blind. I love you too and you know it."  I grab his hand and we head back to his house.

"Excuse me? Are you okay?" He asked as I snapped out of it. "Y-yeah. I'm fine." I said, still a little zoned out. "Look. I know you don't remember me, but we had a past. So if I seem off, it's because of the fact that something happened to make you forget me." I looked down, mumbling. 

"Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't know. I'll try not to be around you as much. I don't want to hurt you." He said, looking down. "No. It's fine. I won't be able to stop thinking about it even if you're not around. Just forget I said anything." I said. I got up and went to bed with Steve.
