It had been three days since I'd spoke with Him. I felt agitated and restless because who in their right minds would leave someone with such a difficult decision and not bother to show up? It is completely nonsensical! I tried to preoccupy myself with my studies. Oh right... you may be wondering why a 15 year old boy hasn't been attending school. That is because my mother couldn't bare to let me fend for myself especially when she heard about what happened to Kimura. So she decided to register me as home-schooled. Mother has the qualifications since she used to be a middle school teacher back home hence why I was allowed to be home-schooled. Sara never fails to inform me of how hard it is going to school and that she wishes she was me however I feel the exact opposite! Although I'm pretty content with life at the moment, I'd love the opportunity to attend secondary school like majority of the kids my age.
*Knock knock*
"Akio! Are you in there?" A voice calls
"Sara? Yeah come in." I replied
"You won't believe the dream I just had! There was a weird voice who kept repeating Suzu and not to mention he kept asking about you! I think my brain just wanted an excuse for me to visit you." Sara explained
"Oh... right. How unusual?" I replied
"I know! How weird. Anyway you haven't messaged me in a while, is everything okay?"
"Wh- what everything's fine why wouldn't it be?" I stuttered
"Uh. Don't tell me you consumed some more sketchy substances?" She asked concerned.
"Substances?"
"Yeah. You know the drugs." She whispered
"I totally forgot I told her that" I thought to myself. "No it's not that I-"
"Not what? You know what you need, a day out! Just you and me, what do you say?" She asked
"Not right now Sara. I'm kind of the middle of something." I replied
"In the middle of what? Because to me it looked like you were laying on your bed talking to yourself!" She replied
"Sara-"
"You know what... I don't wanna hear it. It's like you don't have time for me.""..." I could not give her an answer
"You can't even bother to try and comfort me. Akio what happened? We used to be so close, you'd tell me everything that happened even if it was completely insignificant!" She wept
"I'm sorry.... it's not easy to explain."
"Sorry won't cut it, goodbye Akio!" She cried as she slammed the door behind and bolted out.
"It seems like everyone is mad at me these days." I sighed as I sought after her."Leave her." a voice whispered.!
"Great. You just have to appear at the worst of times!" I sighed
"Hey Suzu, it's been a while."
"You! It's your fault that Sara is upset with me right?" I asked
"You have to come with me... convince your mother to accompany you. Do whatever it takes, I quit asking you adequately. You must come with me!" He announced
"What's gotten into you? I don't have time for this I need to find Sara!"
"I didn't want it to come to this... but I will have to get involved." He stated
"What the does that mean?" I questioned
Subsequently, his presence faded away and I was unaccompanied one more time.
———————————————————"Two days remain and the time never stops progressing whereas you haven't made any progress at all young Kimura!" A man beckons
"I would like to exhibit Plan B, if that's alright with you sir?" Kimura asks
"Well if it means I finally get the boy, do whatever you please!" The man laughs as he gnaws on a tobacco leaf. "What are you still doing here, get lost! Or you could help me pick out the most suitable cologne for our guests tomorrow evening?"
"With all due respect sir, I don't think they are interested in those kind of affairs. I do recall that they are respectable woman who are coming for strictly business only right?" Kimura questions.
"On second thought maybe I should retrieve the boy myself." The man teases
"That won't be necessary, I will leave now goodnight."
"Disgusting..." Kimura mutters to himself.
