It's officially been over 4 years since I woke up outside Jared's house. I've given up on 'going home' whatever home is. Jared and the band are cool. Like I snapped. My entire personality changed. It's strange.
Anyway, at school, I'm known as 'little guy or dude' by almost everyone. Our band's success has caused me to be...very popular not just in school but in public as well. Last summer we went on a tour around America, it was fun. My voice felt like dying by the end though.
I graduate today. I'm going to the Philadelphia police training center. I want to help people. I want to save someone with a smile on my face. Just like the man from my dreams. Those are the only remnants of the world I used to dream of going to. Now I know that was all it was, a dream.
I don't think Evan has told the truth about the Murphy's. He and Zoe graduated a while back. I think they broke up. There was a huge scandal with Connor's suicide note a few years ago. It got really bad for their family. I felt bad like I could've done more to help. I lost touch with Evan but I still follow him on social media and things. It's whatever now though. I'm graduating in five minutes.
"Izuku midoriya, Philadelphia Police Training Center" the principal announces. I stand up and am met with applause. I walk to the stage and grab my diploma. This is the start of my new phase. One not plagued by memories of a false life.
"Thank you, sir"
"Good luck my boy"
I leave the stage and sit in the new section, as practiced. Just as I take my seat the world goes black. Everyone falls down, like the earth itself is shattering.
My eyes fly open and are greeted by a bright room. This feels familiar. Where is the rest of my body? I look like I'm 16 again? What's going on?
"Deku?" Damn, I haven't heard that name in anywhere but my dreams. A blonde woman with glasses is looking at me, wide eyes
"Hello?" I mumble, my throat is dry and raspy. Then it all hits me at once. Every memory I thought was a dream was real. I'm home? Oh my god, I'm 16 again.
"Melisa?" They must've brought me to I island for treatment.
"Oh my god you're awake" it was four years in the musical...twelve in here right?
"How long has it been?!" I ask while sitting up urgently.
"About seven weeks" she explains.
"Don't move, you'll tear your stitches, let's get you some food" she says. Melisa leaves the room. I got out. I almost forgot everything about myself again.
"So, congrats on getting out" director!!
"I didn't do anything, you took me out," I mumbled.
"Evan told the truth" aww Evan!!!!
"my sister and I are leaving," he says.
"Like we promised, we're moving on to the next world, it's boring here" I sigh.
"Thank you for leaving"
"Goodbye, Izuku" he vanishes into thin air and I breathe a sigh of relief.
"I'm back~," Melisa says while setting a plate of food in front of me.
"How's UA?" I ask while eating.
"A mess, Bakugou almost died the other day but he's fine now, Denki had an accident, oh and kiribaku split" IM SORRY THEY BROKE UP?!?!
"Oh," I say
"Yeah, you should wait to go back until you're healed up," she says.
"Can I call someone?" I ask her.
