"SOMEBODY HELP!"

"Was that Kirishima?" Uraraka askes. We both give each other a look then run to their room only to be met with a blood covered Kirishima.

"Katsuki is hurt" he says while dragging us to the room. Jesus Christ. Bakugou is on the bed bleeding badly from his neck.

"Uraraka call an ambulance" I say while looking bakugou who looks like shit.

"Wait what?" Bitch I don't have time for this.

"Fucking call an abulance!" Bakugou's eyes are still open and responsive. Good come on you stupid brat keep it together. Can we move him? No we can't that would just mess him up more.

"U-Uraraka go get a teacher" Shit I don't know what to do. If I don't step away, bakugou is gonna die. It'll be fine. I just shouldn't be the one in charge.

"Kirishima c-can you t-take point I can't" I say while backing away. I'm gonna mess this up if I try to help. It's better for everyone if I back off right now.

"Yeah man" kirishima says while I freak out.

"Todoroki can you apply pressure, keep him awake I'm gonna find iida" I shakily press down on the tee shirt. Oh my god this is too much blood. Oh my god.

"Bakugou, can you hear me" I ask, he doesn't respond.

"Bakugou I swear to god if you die I'll kill you" I say. By the time the emergency responders arrive bakugou is unconscious. Kirishima and I rode in the ambulance with him.

"What happened?" I ask as we drive to the hospital.

"I- I don't know we were just talking then katsuki started to bleed from his neck" Kirishima says through his tears.

"I-I gotta call his mom," Kirishima says while taking out his phone.

"I'll do it, you need to take a breather" I say while taking the phone from him. I dial ms. Bakugou's number and put the phone to my ear.

"Hello?" She says.

"Hey ms bakugou, it's shoto" I say.

"What the hell did he do this time" so the school hasn't called her yet...weird.

"Actually there was an accident"

"Is katsuki ok?"

"We're on our way to the hospital right now, it's bad"

"Shit" she says. I hear rustling and a door.

"I'm on my way, I gotta call his father thank you for calling" she says.

"You're welcome" we both hang up and I give Kirishima his phone back.

"How are you doing?" I ask Kirishima.

"I don't know" he's still in shock.

"Stop stressing kids" one of the doctors says. The doctor snaps their fingers and a wave of calm washes over me. Even any sore muscles I have relaxed.

"Better?" They ask.

"Yeah, how did you do that?" I ask. I'm
on cloud fucking nine right now this is amazing.

"It's my quirk, I can take mental and physical pain away for ten minutes," Kirishima is quietly snoring. Dang, that's a powerful quirk.

"I used it on your friend too, he should be comfortable in case he does ya know kick the bucket" I don't even care that he thinks Bakugou is gonna die. This is awesome.

"Is he gonna be ok?" I ask while kirishima snores. His phone is blowing up but I don't really care enough to check.

"Well, when ever we try to cover the wound it just bleeds through at this rate we won't make it to the hospital in time to cauterize or stitch"

"Do you know how to cauterize?" I ask the doctor.

If they can talk me through it I could easily do it myself. Plus if he's gonna die anyway what's the point in worrying.

"Uh kid I don't know what you're thinking but like stop"

"Nah just talk me through it" I say while standing up.

"Whatever" the doctor shrugs.

"Ok since I'm a walking painkiller we got that covered, here kid, have a knife" he tosses a Swiss Army knife at me.

"Heat it up, we gotta move quick or he's gonna bleed out, I'm gonna uncover the wound then place the knife on it in increments of one or two seconds" I heat up the knife until I feel like it's gonna melt skin.

"3 2 1" they remove the cotton and I place the knife on bakugou's throat. In any other circumstance I would be laughing.

I lift and replace the knife until the bleeding stops. Oh my god I can cross two things off my bucket list. Learn how to cauterize a wound and hold a knife to bakugou's throat.

"Oh I'm so fucking fired"

"Why now he isn't gonna die so I'm sure you'll be fine"

"Bruh"

"Don't ruin this for me I just held a knife to Bakugou's neck"

"What is wrong with you"

"So much"

"Can you two shut up" kirishima mumbles while stretching.

"I just held a knife to Bakugou's throat by the way" I say proudly.

"Oh cool...WAIT WHAT?" Kiri exclaims.

"This kid just saved your friend's life," the doctor said while patting my head. Is that...affection?!

"Wait actually?" Kirishima says in disbelief.

"I finally learned how to cauterize!"

"That's great todoroki"

maybe if I learned faster I could've kept izu from being taken by the league.

"So katsuki is gonna be ok?"

"I can't promise anything but his chances are better now" that's good. Their quirk is wearing off. I'm getting dizzy.

"Ok I'm gonna pass out now good night" I say while falling over and blacking out.
