5 years later
It was a happy morning for Navya and Arjun as today it was their daughter's 1st birthday. They organised a small birthday party at home with only close friends attending the party.
It's been almost 5 years since that incident and both Navya and Arjun were in a happy bubble. Navya gave birth to a son after a few months when she found that she was pregnant during the incident time and he was now almost 5 years. After 2 years she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and today it was the 1st birthday of their adopted daughter, Naitra.
They both decided to adopt a baby girl so now here they are, celebrating the birthday of her in the most special way possible.
Arjun and Navya didn't want a grand celebration as they still want to be cautious and maintain privacy.
The only people attending the party were Vanya, Reyansh, Keerthi, their kids, Vandana, Ram and some of their kids' classmates and their parents.
They were a nice bunch of people of Navya thought, why not and invited them too and it would be a nice way to spend time for Keerthi too.
Navya and Vanya were busy making sure everything was perfect while Keerthi was playing with Naitra. Navya wanted a garden party as the weather was perfect today, luckily.
When Navya was checking out the decorations, she heard a sudden voice, "Ma!"
It was her elder son Aayod.
"Yes, darling?" She said, smiling softly.
"Mom, I wanna go out somewhere, it's a bit boring here." He said, sheepishly.
Navya looked at him with a stern look and said, "No! It's your sister's birthday Naitra's birthday and anyway all your friends are going to come here to attend the party so where will you go now?"
"But mom.." he trailed off and then shut up when he saw his mom's glare.
He sighed and walked towards the direction of Arjun who was animatedly talking to Reyansh.
"I am happy for you, man!" Reyansh exclaimed.
Just when arjun was going to reply, he was interrupted by none other than his son, "Dad..." He dragged the word.
Arjun looked at him and wrapped his arm around his son's shoulder.
"What your mom said is right, son. It's very impolite to leave the party when it is us who is hosting it so just wait for sometime and then we can go out, okay?" Arjun said softly.
Aayod nodded his softly looking down.
"Happy birthday to Naitra!" Everyone started singing and Naitra was playfully clapping her hands in excitement.
Arjun was looking at her lovingly while holding her tightly to his chest. Navya was standing beside him and she smiled softly while looking at him showering love on their children.
She always thought that he was a heartless person but instead he turned out to be the biggest softie she had ever met. It was surprising and sweet at the same time.
He was just a broken and vulnerable person who needed love and support from his loved ones to heal him and indeed, Navya managed to break his walls and welcome him with open arms.
"Navya?" Navya was shook out of her reverie when Vanya asked her where she was lost.
Navya smiled and shook her head while she, Vanya and Keerthi headed towards the buffet along with Naitra.

They both were blessed with beautiful kids whom they would cherish and protect forever. It was an ideal life for both of them which was certainly not easy as they both had their fair share of battles and grief but what mattered was now they both found each other when they on the brink of losing themselves and this was what made their union more special and remarkable.
Arjun kissed Navya softly on her lips while they both were enjoying sometime alone, looking at the moon. She kissed him back with the same vigour and then they broke the kiss as they became breathless.
"The party today was amazing!" Arjun murmured into her neck. Navya hummed in response and they settled into a comfortable silence.
"Oh! By the way, I wanted to tell you that today I am taking the kids to an orphanage, I know that we have already celebrated Naitra's birthday but I wanted her to celebrate it again tomorrow with the kids over there. It's going to be a very special birthday as today it wasn't possible to celebrate there because you already had to organise an impromptu birthday party." Arjun rambled.
Navya kissed him to shut him up and said, "Yes, that's actually very thoughtful of you. We can definitely do that. It's important to instill gratitude to our kids from early age itself yes, it's truly going to be very special and memorable."
Arjun smiled brightly started sucking her neck, making her moan. She was taken aback af first but started enjoying it and reciprocated him. They were so lost in the moment and they suddenly found themselves on the bed with their clothes scattered on the floor.
They both enjoyed each others' presence while making sure to keep their voice to the minimum as they didn't want to wake up the kids. Everyday was a new experience for them and with they with each other in their arms, they slowly drifted into a peaceful sleep.
On the other hand, his uncle and his so called mom and dad who were actually his aunt and uncle were rotting in jail for all their sins and Arjun had made sure that they were never going to come out again even on parole.
He could have tortured and killed them but he knew that was not what he wants. They had to pay for their sins and they are. The old man played his role as an important witness to the case and the fact that his aunt and uncle agreed to their misdeeds ahd further strengthened their case.
His sister was traumatised after what had happened and had to for therapy and all for what? For a stupid revenge by a senseless asshole.
The good thing though was that she quickly recovered due to his kids and Navya along with him. He made sure that she never had any issue and treated her exceptionally well. Even though it was not his fault, he couldn't help but feel guilty as he wasn't able to find her early inspite of him trying really hard, just because his uncle had bribed all this PIs.
He didn't know how the old man and Vandana had managed to reach him he will surely be eternally grateful for what they did. They truly shaped his life in a different way and he couldn't be more happy.
This was his happy space and this was his future, a future for which he was willing to go to any length to protect it.
