Lauren's POV:

The girls and I, minus Camila nowadays, were lounging on the couch while watching some television. Thankfully we had a couple of days off before we went back to business. I mean, we did have a long, and I mean loooonnnnnggg, break from working but after everything that happened over the past couple of days, thanks to the charity event, we easily got tired out. Mentally and physically. Especially for Camila.

I was sure that trip down to the hospital had set her back a couple of steps but she was still getting better each day. Some days she would come down from her room. Some days she would even eat at the dinner table with us. Sometimes she even hung out with us like normal. One step at a time I guess.

Just as it was getting to the good stuff on Pretty Little Liars, we were about to experience our own little drama right in our house.

"Seriously? You're going to the hospital again, aren't you? You have been going for almost a week now," Camila said as she walked behind Sinu into the living room.

"Girls," Sinu greeted us before turning her attention back towards her daughter. "Mija, I told you-"

"It's to help Charlie. I know. BUt why do you feel the need to help them? I'm sure the doctors are doing all they can. She's the sole heiress of a multi-billion dollar corporation for crying out loud. It's not like she can't afford the help or something," Camila argued.

"Karla!" Oh snap. Sinu only shouted Camila's first name whenever she was mad. And she was definitely mad.

Sinu breathed in a deep breath knowing she had startled not only her daughter but the girls in the living room as well, who didn't know whether to leave or stay completely silent like a house mouse and act like they weren't here. We did the latter.

"Please, just drop the subject, mija," Sinu sighed.

"Whatever. Have fun at the hospital," Camila grumbled while heading up to her room.

We all watched her leave and heard the slam of her door. She'll be staying up there for awhile. Great. We'll have to devise a plan to get her down at some point. She used to go days without leaving her room before. We were not going to let that happen again. We won't let it.

"I'm sorry I'm leaving you with her in this state. I promised Charlie I'd come by this afternoon," Sinu expressed. "Maybe if I-"

"No, it's okay. You go ahead, Mama C. We got this," Dinah stated, going over to hug Sinu.

"Yeah, I'll bake some cookies and see if that gets her out of her room. I'm sure she can't deny the sweet smell of nicely baked cookies," Ally added.

"Thank you girls, I'll see you in a couple of hours. Dinah, your family might come over today, as well," Sinu said while walking towards the door.

"Whoop whoop. It'll be party when you get back then," Dinah laughed.

"Tell Charlie we say hi," I said before Sinu completely left the house.
