It has been a week since the incident at the club with the Jenner's and, as always, the media has caught wind of it creating an unnecessary uproar of rumors and scandal. Pictures of Harry carrying me out of the club started to surface while blurs of "me" taking "hits" of drugs were popping up all over social media and becoming one of the most talked about discussions in all entertainment news.
It was annoying to see it, but it was even more annoying to have it shoved in my face in every single interview I had afterwards. I freaking hated the hot seat.
"So, how has everything been lately?" The interviewer asked. I believed his name was Josh. I think.
"Everything is going great. I've been doing a couple of fashion line campaigns here and there while opening up centers all over the States for the Tyler Chapman foundation," I answered in a polite and honest manner.
"That's good. Keeping you nice and busy while on the road it seems. Though I am sure you have your fun times. Am I right?"
Oh, great. Here it comes. The hot seat.
I placed on a fake smile and looked up at the small audience before turning back to Josh.
"Yeah, there are some fun times amongst all this business. All work and no play, makes Alex a dull girl," I joked, hoping to turn away from the hot seat.
The audience laughed as well as Josh, enjoying my little reference to a nice classic. I was silently hoping that was enough to get them off of the popular discussion surrounding me at the moment.
"So, pictures have been circulating the social media globe," Or not. "And we are all wondering. Are you dating the hottie from One Direction?" At least he was blunt and straight forward about it.
"Which hottie?" I dodged, earning another round of laughter from the crowd.
"Touche, touche. You are right. All of the members of One Direction are quite the eye candy. But in all seriousness, I'm talking about the one and only, Mr. Harry Styles. Rumors have been circulating about you and him dating for a long time now and you being on the road with him only makes it more interesting. So, give us an exclusive. Are you dating Harry Styles?"
Josh inched closer as if bursting my personal space was going to help in the situation. I was going to tell him the same thing I say in every single interview that I have had.
The truth.
"You're right," I started, receiving gasps and intakes of breath from not only the crowd but from Josh as well. I had to stop myself from rolling my eyes. "You're right about it being a rumor," I reiterated, earning groans and disproving sound effects. "Sorry to break it to you, but Harry and I are just friends. To clear things up more, I'm actually not dating anybody at the moment. I think I need time to just focus on myself and my own personal happiness than to focus on adding someone else's. I'm on a roundabout, a free range pony," I declared.
