Your POV

"Okay, Sofi, you know the rules. Mom and dad aren't here so you're stuck with us the whole night," Camila stated as we sat patiently in the car

"No running off and trying to talk to celebrities," I sighed.

"I'm sorry, Sofi, but this isn't like the award shows. There's going to be a lot of suit and tie people here instead of raging teenagers," Camila explained to me for the hundredth time today.

"Don't worry, Sofi. I'll introduce you to whoever I know there," Lauren winked down at me. Camila sent Lauren a concerned look and Lauren simply rolled her eyes. "You worry too much, Camz. Sofi is probably the only little kid I know that can handle herself in these situations, no offense Dinah, but your siblings are crazy compared to this one," Lauren stated.

Dinah didn't seem to take offense because she quickly agreed with Lauren's statement and laughed.

"All right, I'm sorry little one. I'll stop overreacting. It's just-"

"I know. Don't worry, Kaki. I got this," I smiled up at her.

After a few minutes waiting on the red carpet because of the few media press that were there to cover the charity event, we finally made it into the reception area. Camila was right. There was a lot of people with suits and ties and extravagant gowns and dresses, unlike the ones I'm used to seeing at the award shows.

"Ey, mini Cabello, want to hit the appetizer table with me?" Dinah nudged me.

I smiled as a response and attached myself to Dinah's arm. We made our way to the table and stared at the delicious food in front of us. Dinah looked confused while she read some of the descriptions of the food. I didn't even try to read the cards because if Dinah was having a hard time, I wouldn't even come close to guessing so I just dived right in.

"Girl, do you even know what you're stuffing in your mouth?" Dinah laughed as she looked over to my fully stuffed face.

"Nope," I managed to say before getting more food on my plate.

"Adventurous one, aren't we?"

I turned towards the voice and saw a young man, in a suit and tie of course, smiling down at me. He looked very handsome with his dirty blonde hair and rugged looking beard. I guessed Dinah seems to agree because she was simply staring at the guy in awe.

"I don't think I can read the description of the card so I thought to just try it instead. Besides, I'm sure it's good because why else would they serve the food," I stated.

"True, and besides, the descriptions would just make you not want to eat it. Fancy words make food seem not so appetizing," he laughs. The man then turns his attention towards Dinah and notices that she still hasn't said a word and that flies might have landed in her opened mouth. "You might want to close your mouth, love."

"Wh-what? Oh, sorry," Dinah blushed. "Hi, my names Dinah."

"Tyler, pleasure to meet you," he said as he leans down and kisses Dinah's hand. "And who might you be, my lady?"

"I'm Sofi, but please don't kiss my hand," I said as I hid my hands behind my back.

He laughed and backed away a bit.
