Lloyd Montgommery Garmadon (Greenflame Story)

chapter twenty-two

Mia shivered, she quietly closed the door. She'd be in huge trouble and end up just like Lloyd if her father ever knew she was sneaking out.

But she missed him and wanted to make it up.
She'd overheard of conversation between her father and the Jades. And couldn't get it out of her head.

Mia couldn't sleep, she was worrying. Since Lloyd had ran off with those nasty ninja. Garmadon had been acting strangely and most more clingy.

"You better get your act together." She heard Mr Jade tell Garmadon.
"I know, I'll take care of it." She heard him answer, he sounded stressed.

"You keep saying that." She heard Mrs Jade snap. The door was slightly open, she crept up the door. Peaking inside.

Garmadon was standing. He looked upset, and Mr and Mrs Jade were sitting as usual. "Theres no use, in worrying just suck it up and kill the boy. Before he takes you out."

Garmadon walked over too his desk and sat with his head in his top arms. "You had no problem taking out the boys mother, why now?"

Mia gasped and backed away from the door.
"Yes and belive me, i never wanted to kill her; whether she was a weak human or not."

Koko hadn't ran away from them. "Dad killed mom..." she whispered.

Now, absolutely nothing made sense to her. All she knew, was she had to find Lloyd and tell him; of Garmadon and the Jades plot the kill him.

But what Mr Jade had said was ring in her head.
'Theres no point in worrying, just suck it up and kill the boy, before he takes you out.'

So did that mean Lloyd was planning on murdering Garmadon too? Nothing made sense, she didn't even know where she was going.
It felt as if, these woods would never come to a end.

"What you trying to do? Knock the tree down?" She heard a male voice say.

"Yeah, actually." That...that was Lloyd's voice! She begged, she hadn't imagined it and began to run. Following the sound of the argument.

"L!" She called out, as loud as she could.
The two boys stopped arguing as she called out again. "L! Lloyd!"

She kept running, calling out his name. She tripped a couple of times but didn't stop.
"Mia!" She heard, him call out.

She saw a Sixteen year old boy standing in front of her with a smile.
"Lloyd!" She cried, running into his arms. Lloyd may have been much shorter, but you'd really think he was older.

She began to cry, in her brother's inbrace.
"Mia, why are you outside the gate?" He asked her pulling away, gently. More tears fell.

"Mum..." she muttered, Lloyd looked taking back.
"What about mom?" He asked slowly. He was guessing from her expression, it wasn't good news.

"She didn't abandoned us..." Lloyd only stared at her, his brunette friend watching curiously. "What?" He breathed.

"Dad...he murdered her."

Lloyd stared at her before falling down, a few tears falling. "I'm so sorry." Her voice cracked as she fell her knees, pulling him into another hug; her hand in his hair.

He didn't react, he just sat there motionless.

"He'll die..." was his only answer.
