Jay and Kai, exchanged glances at Cole's message.
"Huh?"
Kai questioned, to his watch.

"Take L back. I'll double back and sneak in too see what's up."
Jay expression, turned stern as he spoke.
This was rare.

Kai guessed he had the same, tearing gut feeling that he had.
That this was huge, that something terrible was wrong.
"I can...!"

Kai began, still clinging onto Lloyd. Who too much surprise was shaking.
"No. L needs you, like Nya needs me."

Kai went silent, before nodded to his brother.
"Ok. Please be careful. For my sake."
Jay nodded, pulling out his lightning blade.

Before he could say another word, Jay had already ran away, talking fast to Zane too the watch.
Kai felt uneasy.

Jay was usually was one, to lighten the mood by laughing and joking.
The ninja who never ran out of energy, talking too fast from excitement for anyone to understand.

He had the thought, of how much Jay truly loved Nya; to be able to turn so fast to comfort him.
"Daddy....K.....M.....Green.....Prophecies...."

Kai turned his head back to Lloyd, who was staring into the distance; clinging onto the front of Kai's robes.

Kai was practically in front of the bounty.
What was he stalling over?

He held Lloyd's even closer, running straight up to his flying home.
"Mia! Let me aboard, I've got L!"

Mia's head immediately appeared over the side.
"Lloyd!"
She cried at her messed up little brother.

She immediately threw the plank down, allowed Kai to scramble up; still clingy onto Lloyd.

Mia, had already started to fuss over Lloyd; before Kai could say anything.
Before he knew it Master Wu was already over.

"What happened?"
Mia asked, a few tears threatening to spill from her eyes.
Kai looked down at Lloyd's blank expression.

"I don't know."
Wu placed a arm around Kai's neck and began to gently guide him below deck.

"Let's put him too bed, then we can discuss."

Kai bit his lip, but walked anyway.

He felt as if his knees were going to buckle, but it wasn't from weight.
Lloyd had always been underweight from not eating properly as a child.

It was his worry and stress.
God he hated this feeling, if only it was a physical thing; so he could tear it out.

He sighed, feeling tears in his eyes.
Lloyd had only been captive, three days. Yet it was the longest time in his life.
He lent down and placed a gentle kiss to his forehead.

"You can sleep, now. Your safe."

Lloyd gently closed his eyelids.

Kai just begged, they would open again.
