I apologise if spelt that incorrect 🙂
This is a really, really long chapter.
And sad
________________

It was sound night,
Nya had woke and was her usual self. But she was too exhausted too even lift her arms.

Jay was sleeping with her tonight.
Cole had agreed too swap beds with Kai that day; so he could be on bottom too keep an eye on Lloyd.
Just in case he woke in the middle of night.

The past few days, had felt so lonely; almost as if there was some sort of gaping hole inside him.
But now that he could physically see Lloyd sleeping in a different bed, it was truly painful.
It was worse type of lonley. One that lingered from the pit of his stomach, tearing at his insides.

It was worse than watching your ex-lover who you still had feelings for, dance with another person; while shooting you snarky smirks.
Too see, the person you love more than life itself, the person you long for.
Be so close, yet so far out of your reach; too fight the urge to just pick them up and cuddle.

And belive Kai, when he says Lloyd gave the best cuddles.
Or at least, used too. Now. Now he was worthless.

A few hot tears fell from the fire masters eyes.
He longed too look into Lloyd's green ones.

To be so very fascinated by there nature, to get lost in the whirl of green.
To see imagine what they would look like if they were normal.
To be able to stare at him, in awe and pure amaze; as he blushed staring into Kai's own Ruby red ones.

More tears fell fast.
This feeling of pain, was almost a burning sensation.
And Kai, was amazing with burning and heat; yet this was pure agony.

Was Lloyd really going too die?
He'd been asleep for, three days.
Three agonised days, filled with nothing but pain for the fire master.

Kai looked up at the wall, at the small burrito stain from when the boys were pissing off Nya and she threw one.
On a different wall was a large burn mark from where Lloyd had set the wall on fire; while still trying too control his powers.

Lloyd.
Even memories of him, were pain.
Pain design too break his heart.
It almost felt like a large hammer, repeatedly slamming into his heart slowly yet surely shattering it into tiny pieces.

"Wake up. I need you."
Kai cried a bit louder, loud enough too make Cole stir and lean over the side of the bunk.

"Kai. You ok?"
Kai looked at his brother, who was in danger of falling completely over the side from grogginess.

He quickly whiped away his tears.
"Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine. Just worried."

Cole had now adjusted, too being awake and swung over the side onto Kai's (his) bed.
"Talk too me. This isn't like you."

Kai bit his lip. Cole placed a large hand on his shoulder and squeezed.
"Come on. Technically I'm older brother. Now tell me, what's bothering you."
Kai chuckled slightly, wiping away some tears that had stained his olive cheeks. Quickly glancing at his dying lover.

Cole noticed, and pulled his a bit closer.
"I'm not going too force you to talk, but it will help."

Kai placed his hands in his lap, staring down at them and began.
"Well, I just....I hate this feeling. I feel so torn and useless."
His voice was slightly croaky, he cleared it.

"I'm....I've always been the tough one. You guys were the only ones I let into my heart. Even that was challenge and it took a lot of convincing for me too trust you."
Cole hummed, too show he understood.

"Yeah, you were a spiteful, selfish prick."
Kai choked on a small laugh, not expecting a answer like that.
He cleared his throat again, has it felt as if was closing up; trying to suffocate him before continuing.

"Nya too. I felt as if I had a duty too protect her. Being orphans and all. But even that love was a lot more cut off, than it is now."

Kai was hit again with the hammer.
Remembering that he was a orphan, that his precious parents had suddenly disappeared when he was only five years old.
Throwing so much responsibility onto him, just how hard he had too work in the shop just too keep Nya alive.

How he had no education, as he was always working day and night. Only too fail, over and over.
They could never had enough money for both of them too eat.
And even those meals, were tiny.

How hard it was too raise a toddler, too work constantly, too try and get a education for that toddler.
And never make prophet.
Too go too bed, for floor, every night hungry.

He began too cry again,
Cole pulled Kai even closer and comfortably shush him, rubbing circles on his back.
Kai choked out the rest of his sentence.

"But I'd just let Lloyd walk straight in. I'd hadn't questioned him, I'd....I'd just loved him."
Cole stayed silent, listening too his broken brother.

He'd never been in a relationship before, so he couldn't never imagine what pain he was in.
"And that's a bad thing? We were just a bunch of secret vigilantes, we were normal."

Kai looked up at Cole, who was wearing a wise expression.
He didn't answer, he just listened.

"L, is crazy. What he brings, is insane and he throws everything up in the air."
The same feeling of doubt, that started this by creeping up on him; like some sort of monster was coming back.

"But that's great. We needed the craziness, we needed everything in pieces.
Because no matter, what we thought we had. It wasn't right."

Kai's lip, trembled slightly tears falling.
Yet listening too everything, that Cole was telling him almost felt as if some sort of horrifically heavy object was being pulled off him.

"I couldn't see it, myself how wrong everything was.
Until L, broke everything throwing it all over the place. Now, when we're trying too put it back together; you'll find there that it wrong and didn't look right."

Kai stopped crying and began rethinking every one of his big brothers words.
"Don't judge him. Stay open with him and belive that he'll pull through."

Kai looked over at Lloyd, who was completely out cold.
"Listen, I've never been in a relationship so I don't know what your truly going through. But I do know, we need eachother, that we have too stick together as a family. And I do know, Lloyd is part of this family too."

Kai began too cry again, throwing himself into Cole.
He wrapped his large arms around his brother.
"You problem is, you have trust issues. And I don't judge you, what I don't like is that even when you trust people. You still doubt you. I know it's not your fault, I know what your life was like before us."

Kai looked up, feeling like a scared little boy. Cole was truly a massive man.
"But it's not impossible too learn. It's not bad too feel scared or talk."

This times tears did fall, soaking Cole's pajamas.
He gently stroked the back of Kai's gelled hair, it reminded him of who Lloyd used too.
"Try to stay open, not for me, not for Zane, Jay, Wu or even Nya. But for Lloyd.
He needs you, just remember where he came from."

"I don't know, what I'd do without you guys, thankyou."

Cole smiled.
"Now, try too sleep. Try and meditate if you want.
Just take all this off your mind and relax. It's at least a start."

"I....I just love him so much."

"I know."

I had spilt this chapter in half, also I was making myself sad and I have work tomorrow.
