We walked out of the sewers and moved through the city in unity. We had killed many soldiers and took their guns. We walked together, much like a marching band. "I know where a close by dock is, and there are a couple of boats we could take." Troll said to me. "Good, if we can make it there by sundown we can take the boats and sail to Liberty Island." My grandma said. "We gotta move quickly if we wanna make it on time." I said as Diego looked at me, nodding his head. Three cars showed up as they turned the corner in front of us. Though New York was a city big enough for millions, we had to keep the soldiers from taking over any other survivors. I knew others besides Adam, Amber, and Benny were surviving somewhere out there. We all looked at each other confirming that we had a plan set up already. Issa ran at a truck with fire in her eyes. She stopped herself and shot at the mind shield multiple times. Boots chased after his love and lifted his gun too. The two of them killed soldiers as they came but they started calling reinforcements. Soldiers swarmed at us as they left the trucks. Bullet shells fell to the ground making the continuos clinking sound against the ground. The rest of the group joined in the battle. We all ran at the soldiers and many fell to the ground. Issa shot and hit with her gun. She pulled out her knife and cemented it into the soldiers necks and heads. She was a vicious assassin. At points she would kick them on the ground until they couldn't even see clearly. I was afraid that she was becoming too much for our group. She was not only putting us in danger but she was at risk of dying too. She was like a sister to me so I had to continue helping her. Our group took out all of our opponents within an hour. We kept moving and tried to stay hidden. To create a distraction we put grenades in the gas tanks and other bombs. We all ran and my grandma pressed a red button on a remote, and the cars blew up into flames, creating a big enough explosion that soldiers would come looking for it. We took a couple other empty trucks and drove to the dock Troll had seen about a month ago. We hopped out of the cars with our guns loaded and ready for any soldier attacks. Issa was a big part of our group, she was the eyes of our group and we all had our part in the team. We finally clung onto the ladders and ropes on the boat and Troll ran to the control center and started working on stealing it. I saw a couple soldiers that spotted us and they were coming our way. "Grandma! Snipe them." She pulled out her sniper and shot at a couple soldiers, but they kept coming at us. It was a dangerous risk. We had to keep trying. More and more appeared and my grandma was losing bullets. Then they shot "Duck!" I yelled out as I tackled Issa out of the way. "Ahhhh." Issa screamed as she put her hand over her shoulder. "We need a doctor now!" Then the boat moved. We began to sail to Liberty Island before sunset and the soldiers didn't get to us.
