Dora the Explorer PostApocalyptic Warfare

~Five~

We walked through the city and my grandma was finally able to stay conscious. This was the third time soldiers had found us this year and we needed to learn to hide better. We walked into a small building high enough to give us some shelter for the night. We went to the roof and at the top made a small fire to keep warm. The world has lost to harsh conditions, when it's hot in a desert fires break out on any living thing, when it's cold snow covers everything and turns it to ice. Earthquakes happen more often and tornados hit anywhere they want. "Mom, you see any food?" I asked. "I might see a bird but gunshot sound and the fall of the bird might alarm more soldiers." She said. Issa and I went to the first floor. We made a fire at the bottom floor too. "I hope the others are okay." Issa said. "Don't worry, they'll be okay." We talked for a while but had to put out the fire when a cargo truck passed by us. The city became so cold like the Himalayan mountains. Frost crawled up the windows faster than ever. Soon the windows became a piece of ice. The room became so cold flakes of snow started to float around us. Finally when the truck turned onto another street, I lit another fire. It was still freezing inside so I started to walk to the roof to check on my mom and grandma. Then I saw my mom's hands covered in blood, while she walked my grandma down the stairs. "Dora get your grandma to safety." She pulled out a leather jacket with a soft fur inside to keep her warm, and she walked up the stairs with her silver pistol and walked up. "Mom what's going on?" "Just wait here Dora!" She said to me as she ran up the metal stairs. My grandma had a cut on her arm and she was bleeding extremely bad. After Issa covered up my grandmas cut on her arm I walked upstairs. I saw my mom in the corner of the roof top, her gun on the ground, and three soldiers lye dead on the snowy floor. "Mom?" I said as she lifted her head a little to look at me.
