The crack of dawn lightened the sky and I ran towards my mother. She looked at me and she had blood dripping into the snow. "Mom you're bleeding." I said. "The soldiers got to me and I managed to kill them all before other's arrived to the building." I started crying. "Dora you have to leave. There are more coming." She said to me. "I'm not leaving you mom." She pointed to the gun opened her jacket and I saw a bullet shot in her stomach. "Go Dora... you have to save Issa and your grandma. I love you Dora, be safe okay..." And her eyes slowly closed. I wiped away most of my tears. They were still coming though. I bent down to look at her gun. Then I looked at the three soldiers. One of the soldiers had a bullet in his head, another had a cut on his head and his neck was broken, the final soldier was on the ground with a knife jabbed into his throat. I picked it up and the blood left on it showed me something unbelievable. I looked closely, then turned around to see that smoke was behind us from a far aware distance. Then I picked up my moms gun and heard Issa scream. I ran downstairs as fast as I could with a soldiers gun. Every soldier had a machine gun, so I took one of them for a better protection. I found myself in front of Issa and my grandma both shooting at a truck. "Grandma go upstairs and snipe them from a window." I stayed with Issa and shot at the soldiers while my grandma went upstairs. My grandma was an amazing sniper. She shot down the soldiers and we ran off with her. "Where's your mom Dora?" Issa asked. "She didn't make it." I said to Issa. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry Dora." She said. "It's okay. We have to get out here now." I said. We ran into an alley and hid there. A truck drove past us. Then we climbed up a ladder on the side of the building. At the top I heard an explosion. I looked and I saw Benny. He was getting attacked by soldiers. We ran and jumped from building to building like squirrels jumping from tree to tree. We struck the soldiers and rescued Benny. "Benny are you okay?" I said as he got up. "Ya. I'm fine let's go Boots and Elisia ran that way." And he pointed south. We ran that way and found Elisia and Boots. They had killed a couple soldiers. Then the seven of us ran away. A couple hours flew by us and we finally found ourselves a safe place. I opened the sewer entrance and we jumped into it. The sewers smelled terrible but it was the only way we could escape from the soldiers. We walked through the tunnels and found ourselves at a hidden creek. We crawled out of the tunnel and walked through the snow. I was extremely thirsty, so I cuffed my hands, and picked up a ball of snow. I dropped it into my mouth. It cooled me down and it melted into fresh water. I saw birds fly by us. They chirped loudly. Eccentric, I turned around and climbed up a tree to see why they flew away with so much fear. Ten soldiers were camping outside of our area and they were cooking birds they shot down. I slid back down to the earth and told the others. "Okay. Tonight we will assassinate them all and take whatever they have that we can use and go straight back into the city. They have a truck we can use and loads of weapons. We just have to be ready for tonight's strike."
