I was coughing up blood and my arm was still bleeding from the glass. "Dieg-" I coughed. "Diego." I said repeatedly coughing blood nonstop. Then I opened the door at the bottoms floor. I took the stairs down. It was bright when I got outside. I held onto my pistol and checked if it had ammo. I had to reload it so I took off my backpack and took out some bullets. I slid them into the magazine and I got it ready. My nose had blood dripping out of it and I had a straight lined cut on my cheek. I called for names and I got no response. An hour had passed and I just walked past rubble. I cried. "Why? Why do I have to live like this? Why? Why. Why!" I said repeatedly. I felt such despair and I pointed my pistol towards my head. My finger on the trigger, ready to shoot. Then an arm pulled my arm down in a split second and before I knew it a knife was hovering right in front of my throat and my mouth was covered. I was being pulled back. Then I found myself in an alley. "Shhh. Don't make noise." I recognized the voice. "Diego? Is that you?" I said in a whisper, scared to death. "Yes! Now shut up let's go." He said as he removed his knife from the front of my throat. He opened a metal door, and walked inside. Then he climbed up a ladder, as I followed. Then we were both on the roof of the building. We jumped across to the next building, slid down a rope, and he told me to go into the sewer well entrance. I climbed down the metal ladder and followed Diego through the tunnels of the sewers. "Where are we going Diego?" I asked. "I said shut up Dora, they're gonna find us." He said to me sternly. I closed my mouth and I didn't speak for the rest of the walk. Then I saw a wired fence in another tunnel to my left. "We're here. Let's go." He said to me as he lifted the fence up for me to walk through. I crouched down and he followed. We walked for a long time and then, we found a small room. It was big enough to hold at least fifteen people. He whistled one high note, and Troll, Elisia, Issa, Boots, and my Grandma showed up. We all talked with a small voice, not making loud noises. Our group was back together and we had a plan. We were going to find the last bit of our group and search for the last three. Adam, Amber, and Benny had to be somewhere in the city. Alive.
