The boat was low on gas and night took control of the sky. We were almost to the island but I was afraid that we wouldn't make it all the way. "Issa. How's your arm?" I asked in concern. "It's better than before but it still hurts." She said quietly. "Well, try to get some rest. Okay?" I told her. "Alright, thanks for checking on me Dora." She responded as I walked away. "What's it like Boots?" I asked. "It's clear. How's Issa?" He asked. "She's fine. She's going to get better." I told him. "Alright." He said as he turned back to the water to see how everything was. I stood next to my grandma and Diego. We just spoke about what we were going to do if Liberty Island isn't what we wanted. "Dora. Would if we don't find Benny and the others?" Diego asked me. "Oh Diego, we will find them. We lost one person we can't lose another." My grandma said as she loaded her pistol and sniper rifle with new bullets. "Don't talk about my mom. I don't need to hear about her anymore." I said as I walked away. The surface of the sky lightened the next day, and Lady Liberty arose from the darkness and we emerged to the island. Pushing small rafts over the boat and into the ocean, we gathered our belongings and paddled our way to shore. Liberty Island was in our sight. I saw a small fire so when I arrived on shore I walked to it. It was Benny. I was beyond happy I found him. He told me that Adam and Amber were both inside the large structure and created a shelter for the three of them. We were united once again.
