We get there and they sit us and I already know what I want my shrimp alfredo and my virgin strawberry daiquiri, and I love the bread and the salad there.
"So, baby girl, what your mother been up to? She didn't write me or nothing when I was down this time."
"Dad, really? You thought my mom was going write you after the hell you put here through before you went in?"
"I know what you saying, baby girl, but you have to understand that your mother is the only woman I ever love before."
"Dad, that's not love, you shooting out her tire and beating up on here sometimes."
"Baby girl, I know what I did and when I was doing that stuff, I was drunk and high and I told ya'll I'm not that person anymore."
"D.W., trust, I hear everything you saying and you have said all this stuff to us before, but you really need to chill with my mom and you live your life and let her live hers."
"Baby girl, you right. I chill for a little awhile, but I'm not giving up on your mom and me."
"Okay, dad, whatever."
"So, what are you and Nay getting into tonight?"
"Nothing much, just gonna catch a movie and chill."
D.W.'s phone rings and it's that's dude Smooth, D.W. tells him to meet him at the spot in a half an hour. It's something about that dude Smooth that I'm really not feeling, I can't put my finger on it yet, so I'm just going shake it off for now.
I hit Nay up, "Girl, as soon as we done, I'm going be on my way."
"Okay, cool, see you soon, girl."
Me and D.W finish up and we pull up to Nay crib. I'm getting ready to get out of the car when D.W. tells me that me and Nay better stay out of trouble and gave me a few dollars to chill with. Now, a few dollars with D.W. is not just a few dollars, he gave me $300 just to chill for the night with Nay.
So, I walk up in Nay house, yelling out, "Hey, what's up, sexy?"
"What's up, ma?"
"So, girl, what are we getting into tonight?"
"Girl, I don't know yet."
"Wait, Nay, my phone ringing, it's Tiff. Hey, what's up, Tiff? Are you having a party tonight? Oh, okay, me and Nay going come through. Okay, girl, we will see you later." I look over at Nay, "Well, girl, now we got plans for tonight."
