(DECONSECRATED) FRANXX vs. EVA01

Not a Chapter But Please Read

     So, I never thought that this would get so much attention. Thank you for reading this far ahead, I want to make an announcement.

     First off, I'm reading the Darling in the FRANXX manga. Why is this important enough to be an announcement? Well I'll be honest with you. It has been YEARS since I've watched the Darling in the FRANXX anime. I have limited knowledge of all the characters and the plot of the series. I have been using the WIKIA to fill in the gaps in my knowledge while writing this story.

     I don't want to be lazy and just absolutely butcher the characters of DITF, making them into something completely untrue to the series. As this is my story, of course I'm going to make the plot turn out completely different than what happens in DITF. But I want to do that while still retaining some of the characters personality in the story up to where I start changing things. 

     The reason I chose manga is one, it tends to have more detail than the anime. Two, I can read manga faster than I can watch. If you were to watch Darling in the FRANXX straight, it would take you a little over 9 hours. That's if you are watching all of it at once. I, like most people on here, have school, chores, a life, etc. It's going to take me an estimation of about a month to watch the entirety of the DITF series. Like hell I'm going to make you guys wait that long, so I'm going to read the manga which should take me about two weeks. In about 2-3 days, maybe today if I have enough time, I will release chapter 4. 

     I know a lot of you must be impatient for this series to continue, let me remind you. Good things take time. I do not want to write a stupid, nonsensical story that has a stupid, nonsensical ending. 

     

     TLDR: I'm reading the DITF manga to fill in gaps, chapter 4 should be here soon.
