Peter POV:

We had sat in silence for awhile now. I had an overwhelming amount of anger at the fact that Y/n was down there being hurt and I was up here. "We can't do nothing." I finally said. "I never said that. I just don't know what we can do to help her yet." The wizard said. "Sure sounds like nothing to me!" I shouted. "Kid, you need to calm down. We know she is alive, that is a good thing. We will help her." Mr Stark said.

I did not want to argue with anyone, so I ran out to Y/n's grave, which I now knew was not real. "C'mon!" I kicked the flowers me and Mr Stark had placed. "There has to be something!!" I shouted to myself. Then the wizard came over. "I have an idea who is keeping Y/n. If it is who I think, he has a bigger plan. I doubt he will need Y/n for much longer. But you need to tell Stark, as he will not listen to me. She is not alone. Someone else is down there in the same situation. We not only need to focus on her, but him as well." He stated. "Him? Who is it?" I questioned. "It's impossible to tell, I just felt another rise of energy apart from pre-existing and Y/n's. This guy has a bigger plan, and we cannot only focus on Y/n anymore. It's the fate of the planet and possibly the fate of the universe." He revealed. Then he opened a portal and disappeared.

Y/n POV:

I woke up with a headache. Everything seemed to be spinning around me. My mouth was so dry, any air I was breathing made me gag. I looked down at my wrists to see the slither had gone, but I was still slumped in the cell. "Hello! Welcome back! Want an update?" The spring in his step was back, and so was his chippy manner. "They are aware Miles is also down here. Oh! I mean your father and best friend. Also, the sorcerer supreme is aware as well." Doctor strange was helping. Hopefully with his help, me and Miles would be out of here, but I had a feeling that is what he wanted. "Now, I think we should get you back up there huh? Let us go!"

He opened the cell and grabbed me. Then he dragged me out and threw me on the ground again. Then the doors flew open to reveal Miles. He was thrown next to me. I moved with all my might over to him. He grabbed me in a hug, but his grip was weak. "No time for loving, you guys have got to go home!" He smiled widely. "Wh...y... are...you...letting...us go?" Miles whispered weakly. "Because that's what the plan requires young boy. You should know." He winked at Miles.

I was slowly fading out of consciousness again when he snapped his fingers. "Ah, ah! No sleeping now!" When he snapped his fingers, a red portal appeared. On the other side was the dark, deserted plains of Central Park. Then guards came out of nowhere and chucked us through. "Now Miles, do what we discussed. See you when the phase is complete!" Then the portal closed.

I lay on the softly cut grass, it a bit damp with the dew of the morning covering it. My lungs filling with this new, not thick air. Miles lay beside me, groaning from the impact of the grass. We lay there, silent. The day slowly started to creep up on us, eventually drenching us in Newborn light. I heard Miles's grunt from the side. "C'mon. We...need...to...get...out of here." He grunted and groaned as he tried to get up. As he tried, I noticed blood was trickling down his neck. There were fresh bruises on his thighs and arms. "Miles...what...did he do to you...?" I asked, huffing from the quick loss of breath. "I... can't tell...you..." he sighed out in defeat, slumping down on the damp grass again with a thump. "Argh!" He groaned, grabbing his neck. "Did...he put this..." I indicated to the glowing disc in my wrist. "In... your...neck?" He slowly nodded, eyes glossing over. "We're out...now Miles...If we get...to my...dad...maybe he'll...be able...to get...these...out...of us." I concluded, panting afterwards. "But how...are we...going to get...there? We're...seriously injured...and in the...middle of...Central Park...Don't think...we're going...anywhere anytime...soon." He stated.

I rolled onto my back, the tension in my arm releasing from being propped up on it. "I... don't know..." I sighed. I felt his weak hand grip mine with all his might. "We'll...find a way." He managed to smile at me through all the pain, doubt, and hopelessness.

We lay there, hoping that when the rush hour hit, someone would find us. That was the peak of our hope. If that did not happen, we would stay here until we bleed out. Even through all this, a very prominent thought left me baffled. Why did he let us go? What did his plan require for him to let us go? I was distracted when I saw a shocked woman standing a few feet away, phone to her ear speaking quite quickly. She then hung up and cautiously approached us.

"Hello? Are-are you Y/n Stark?" She questioned. All I could muster was a simple nod. "My god! You guys look so pale! What happened?! I thought you were dead! Do not worry, I have called an ambulance and the police. You will be safe soon I promise.

She sat with us on the grass, stroking our hair, and trying to keep us awake. Finally, the medics and police arrived. The medics rushed up with two stretchers and carefully placed us on and rushed us into ambulances. The police tried to come and question us, but the medics refused as they said we needed immediate medical attention.

Right as I had been placed into the ambulance, the doors readying to be closed, I saw my dad. He running as fast as he could, holding my mom's hand as he did so. They raced into the ambulance and wrapped me in a massive hug. They were crying, smiling and half yelling. My dad pulling back to hold my hand, my mom's hand on my face as they smiled their biggest smiles I had ever seen as they stroked my hand and cheek lovingly.

In the distance, I saw Peter. He was dumbstruck, staring at me in complete shock. He was shaking his head. In response, I mustered all my last might and nodded back. Then the medics ushered them out and told them to wait at the hospital.

They placed an oxygen mask on, leaving one of the paramedics here to keep an eye on me. The doors closed. I gave into the fatigue, smiling, knowing in some part I was safe.
