SPOILER WARNING!!! Anything that will be discussed in this chapter will contain Easter eggs that exist in Episode 2 (or prior) of WandaVision. While I have not seen any material beyond this chapter, it could include details that result in accurate predictions for the rest of the series.

For comments, I ask that you make them purely about Episode 2 (or prior) of WandaVision. Comments about future episodes should be posted on each episode's chapter. This is to help people who haven't seen the most current episode we discuss at the time.

You have been warned! Let the hunt commence!

Highlighted in "Previously on WandaVision": Wanda and Vision driving into town (from the opening credits); the first lines (re: flying saucers, indestructible head); the introduction of Agnes "your neighbor to the right"; Vision being a "walking computer"; the Harts coming over dinner, the interrogating conversation over the meal, Mr. Hart choking, and Wanda telling Vision to help Mr. Hart; SWORD watching the show-within-a-show at the end. Since they have pointed out these parts to us, obviously important to remember them.

Bedroom scene: Banging happens four times with no clear cause, even after Vision has looked out the window. The first two sound like thudding to me, but the third and fourth sounds like it has an electrical sound mixed in, almost a zapping. Finally, when Wanda opens the drapes, there is a branch banging against the window that wasn't there when Vision looked. The sound of the thudding against the window can be heard, but the zapping isn't part of the noise when you can see the branch.

Vision says that he overheard his colleague talking about a "few unsavory characters settling in the neighborhood." Wanda makes a joke about it (walking through walls, moving objects without touching them), but could this be referring to them without referencing their powers? AKA- the ongoing question/interrogation of why are Wanda and Vision are there.

Fun note: The change from two single beds to one king-sized bed is a reference to the Motion Picture Production Code (also known as the Hays Code), which said it was considered inappropriate to show a couple in bed together, even if they were married. Because of this, all couples were shown in separate twin beds in the same room, such as on I Love Lucy. Based on an article I found, the first live-action TV couple to share a bed on television, who were not already married in real life, were Darrin and Samantha Stephens on Bewitched- the TV show that this episode's look is based on.

WandaVision Title Cards: Lots to unpack in here! Changed to look like Bewitched imagery, similar also to other TV shows of the mid-1960s. Wanda and Vision flying through the sky not only references their powers, but it also directly reflects Samantha flying over the title cards of Bewitched

The stars that sparkle at the beginning are in a hexagonal pattern, similar to the fade at the end of the first episode.

The Welcome to Westview sign has the tag "Home: It's where you make it."

In between the floors, there are webs, bones, and a helmet of some kind. (I'm reading things online about this, but chime in with thoughts of what you think it is!) Could the bones be in reference to skeletons that Vision has in his "closet", as Mr. Hart had asked about?

In the market, there are advertisements on the wall for Bova Milk, Auntie A's ("Kitty Litter that lasts!"), and what is probably Wonder Oats. What do you all think these are in reference to? Again, the internet is deep with thoughts, but let me know what you think!!!
