SPOILER WARNING!!! Anything that will be discussed in this chapter will contain Easter eggs that exist in Episode 4 (or prior) of WandaVision. While I have not seen any material beyond this chapter, it could include details that result in accurate predictions for the rest of the series.
For comments, I ask that you make them purely about Episode 4 (or prior) of WandaVision. Comments about future episodes should be posted on each episode's chapter. This is to help people who haven't seen the most current episode we discuss at the time.
You have been warned! Let the hunt commence!
NOTE: Given the nature of this episode (#4), which is a total departure from previous ones, I will try to highlight which previous episodes are being referenced at various points.
Highlighted in "Previously on WandaVision": Wanda and Geraldine make their introductions at the pool club (episode #2); the voice coming across radio at the pool club and Dottie being freaked out by it (#2); the doctor saying Wanda has two healthy baby boys (#3); when Agnes asks about Geraldine being inside with Wanda (#3); Geraldine saying, "Can you believe it? Twins!" inside with Wanda (#3); Herb saying Geraldine is new to town, Agnes saying she has no home, and Vision asking about it in concern (#3); Herb saying "She came here because we're all..." and Vision asking what he means (#3); Wanda asking about the symbol on Geraldine's necklace, but then flipping to the symbol also on the toy helicopter and the beekeeper's uniform (#3, #2, #2); Wanda saying "No." in response to the Beekeeper being there (#2); Wanda saying to Geraldine "I think you should leave", followed by her being thrown through the force field, and surrounded by the intelligence/military organizations (#3).
Hospital and Monica undusted: When the screen is still in black, we can hear quotes repeated from Captain Marvel and when Monica was young. These include Monica saying "Mom" and Carol saying "Lieutenant Trouble." I couldn't make out the others, so chime in if you could. These culminate with Monica undusting and waking up.
When Monica and Dr. Harland talk, I think it is kind of strange that Dr. Harland asks "Where did you go?" Presumably Dr. Harland is seeing people undusting all around her, just like everyone else is. Also, since Dr. Harland clearly didn't dust (she knows what happened with Maria Rambeau), it's kind of obvious she would know about the dusting and could assume that's what happened to Monica as well. I don't think this is fishy, just weird scripting.
Title cards: There are no title cards for WandaVision, just the Marvel opening, because we aren't set within the WandaVision show for this episode.
SWORD headquarters: In the comics, SWORD stands for Sentient World Observation and Response Department. As we have discussed, they are kind of the off-earth compliment to SHIELD and their base, the Peak, orbits earth. However, with SHIELD gone in the MCU, SWORD apparently has an on-earth component as well. Interesting, in the opening shot for their base on earth, the title has changed slightly from Department to Division. I'm wondering what the distinction would be between the two (very similar, since both words represent a subset of something), but nonetheless interesting to see how this will play out.
In terms of trying to identify the location of the on-earth SWORD base, I think we can make a solid guess. Based on Monica and Director Hayward's conversation of the astronaut program and the general appearance shown in the picture, I would guess it is supposed to be the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA or an equivalent. Kennedy Space Center (originally known as the NASA Launch Operations Center) has been used to launch all of NASA's manned flights dating back to the 1960s. The appearance of some administrative buildings/training facilities, an enormous shed (which would be where they do final assembly of the rockets, etc.), many launchpads, and significant coastline would suggest something similar to Kennedy Space Center.
