In Love with my Nemesis (Sonic x Reader)

Commence OPERATION: "DATE"

(Sonic's P.O.V.)

I was walking through Station Square, my mind filled with worry. What if after leaving she gets sick again? Or Hurt? Or kidnaped? That last one I might not have to worry about so much. Last time she got kidnapped it turned out she was (V/N). I've got nothing to worry about, (Y/N)'s fine. Then why do I still feel uneasy? I see a lone chili dog in an alleyway. Looks like a trap but I never abandon a chili dog. I walk right up to it and get launched into the air. Betrayed by a chili dog, a net was sitting under me. I then hear a familiar cute laugh. (Y/N) comes up to me fully armored as (V/N). "Sonic the hedgehog! I hereby declare you must go out on a date with me!" She speaks with confidence but I can tell that's how she hides her embarrassment. Act confident and they'll never know. Unless you know her as well as I do. That Amy syndrome really made me weird. "Sure I'll go out with you. You didn't need to trap me though." "That website told me to be myself. That's being myself. I'm never trusting that website for advice ever again." She crosses her arms and lowers the net to let me out. "The site isn't wrong. I actually think it's kinda cute you did all this just to ask me out." She turns her head away. I can't see it because of her mask but I can tell she's blushing. "So when do you want to have this date?" She's still turned away from me but her response catches me off guard. "Now." Her hovercraft floats down for the two of us and I step onto the metal plate. The device moves almost as fast as I do. It's kinda nice. She brings me to Silver Valley, a place between the mountains with a large lake. She remembered how much I hate the ocean but I guess she still wanted that waterfront view. I'm not too worried since she's here with me. "Give me two minutes." She floats away in her hovercraft to something in the air I didn't notice before. It looks like Eggman's Egg Carrier but the colors are all wrong. Instead of Eggman's colors, it's (F/C) and (S/C) like her armor. She returns in a pretty sundress. I notice light makeup on her face. It looks a little messed up like she's never worn makeup before. I won't say anything though since it's not that bad. Plus I don't want to offend her on our first official date. She's carrying a basket full of food. So we're having a picnic date. I guess she thinks it's a safe choice. "I hope you like it, I made all the food myself." Her face looks so red, Shadow's stripes look pink by comparison. She sets up the blanket and every time I offer to help she shoos me away saying that she's the one who has to do it. What else did that site tell her to do?

(Shadow's P.O.V.)

On a hunch, I started walking through station square when I heard Sonic yelp. Moments later I see him getting taken away by the technopath, (Y/N) (L/N). He's obviously being kidnapped and as much as I hate it, I seem to be the only person who noticed. I guess I better go save that blue idiot before that short circuit (Y/N) hurts him. Or worse, turns him into a machine.
