Rescue

(Sonic's P.O.V.)

Just when I was about to rescue (Y/N) from Eggman, (V/N)'s robots show up and kidnap her. Sorry Sonic, guess your princess is in another evil lair. I don't even know where his lair is. I better go see Tails. Maybe he can track (Y/N)'s phone. I quickly speed out of Eggman's base, leaving behind a dazed Egghead. I burst through the door of Tails' workshop. "TAILS! EMERGENCY!" I hear a small explosion come from the garage. "Sonic... This better be super important because I just lost my particle accelerator." "(Y/N)'s been kidnapped!" "Umm... Yeah, I was there when it happened." "No, dude. I mean she's been kidnapped again. (V/N)'s bots showed up at Eggman's and nabbed her. I don't know where (V/N) is! Could you maybe track (Y/N)'s phone or something?" Tails sighs, putting a hand to his head. "I mean, I can but... I'm worried you might use that information to track her whenever. I don't want to pull the intervention card but, you gotta promise me you'll leave her alone for a while after you rescue her. She might like you more if you're not breathing down her neck. Imagine how Amy makes you feel because that's how you make (Y/N) feel." I took a moment to think about it. He's kinda right? For the past few weeks I've been acting a bit like an Amy copycat. "Ok, buddy, I promise." Maybe I was going a bit too far. I never considered that I was the one driving her away... Don't worry (Y/N), I'll pull back on the pestering. While Tails was searching for (Y/N) location using GPS, I sat on the couch watching the TV. I was kinda in a box at the moment. Then the TV starts acting weird. The screen changes from the cartoon I was watching to the masked face of (V/N). "I have an announcement to make. Sonic the Hedgehog, I'm sure you're wondering where your precious girlfriend is-" "He's not my boyfriend!" "Quiet! I'm the one talking here! Sonic, if you wish to see her alive, meet me in the desert outside of Station Square. Come alone or she dies." The screen changes back to the cartoon and I rush out the door. I can't let this guy kill (Y/N)! I make it to the desert in a supersonic second and I see (Y/N) tied to some kind of antenna. Standing at its tip is (V/N). (Y/N) closes her eyes and grits her teeth. That pole must be hurting her. "So you've come. I guarantee that this time I won't be the one losing."

(Tails' P.O.V.)

As I was searching for (Y/N)'s whereabouts I came across a file in G.U.N.'s database. I hadn't meant to hack into it but the name on the file made me pause. (Y/N) (L/N) was the name on the file. I opened it and what I found inside shocked me. '(Y/N) (L/N), a level 10 technopath. Highly dangerous. If spotted, report immediately.' Oh no, (Y/N) is...

(Sonic's P.O.V.)

Defeating (V/N) was just as easy as the last time. I quickly untie (Y/N), who falls into my arms. She seems so weak. Was that antenna sapping her energy? "S-Sonic... Thank you..." She's smiling. I like that smile.
