An Unlikely Love

Chapter 3 - Maries's Pov

Looking over her shoulder to make sure no one followed her, Marie couldn't help but feel relieved that she got away in time. Climbing the latter Marie wondered if Loki would tell Thor what had happened, she hoped not, if thor found out he might tell Mr.Stark, and then he would take Marie away to be his next Lab Experiment. Marie couldn't do that, she didn't like feeling used and she didn't like being trapped. Not only did she have her mind control power but she also had the ability to influence electricity. Neither of which she was proud of, Marie didn't like using her powers unless she had to in order to survive. She was only eighteen but being on the streets for two years had taught her a lot, she was the best pickpocket, thief, and fighter around. Marie reached the top of the latter and looked around until she found Binx. Binx was a large, white, long haired, Maincoon cat who lived with Marie. "Sorry i took so long, i kinda got caught, which led to me using my powers to knock him out..."
"Maof-aow" BInx meowed at Marie like a parent scolding their child
"Don't be like that, I managed to swipe you something on my way out. I won't need to take another trip for a week and a half at least" Marie said as she tossed a piece of the tried meat to Binx, she couldn't help but giggle at her cat as Binx devoured the piece in three whole bites and then looked up at her expectantly. "Fine, but this is the last one for tonight" Marie laughed. Suddenly Marie got the feeling that she was being watched, acting as if nothing was wrong Marie went over to Binx, picked her up and moved her to the tent in the middle of the rooftop, zipping the cat inside, Marie turned around and searched for whoever could be there. "I don't know who you are but I do know you're there. Come out now."
