Chapter Two: Dude What Was Up With Her?

I feel so relieved to know that she still loves me and that she does want to spend the rest of her life with me. I got home and by the time I got there, Kendall, James, and Carlos were already there and they changed into their pjs now. They are sitting at the couch playing a video game. Once I closed the door their game ended and James won. So then Carlos and Kendall got mad and started calling him a cheater. They all threw their controllers and James said, "Not the face!" Kendall told Carlos to toss him the goalie's hockey helmet and Carlos did as told. Carlos got his helmet and smacked it once he put it on. "Okay go," James said. "AHH," Kendall and Carlos shouted at the same time tackling him down.

"YOU CHEATED," they both yelled. "NO I DID NOT," shouted James back. "DID TOO," they shouted. "DID NOT! I ALREADY TOLD YOU I DIDN'T CHEAT," he yelled back to them while he was still on the floor. "Guys," I said but they didn't hear me. So I tried again, "GUYS!" They all stopped and looked at me. That came out louder than I wanted it to and louder than I've ever yelled before.

Since they didn't say anything I kept talking. "Break it up already! Here James I'll help you up," I said extending my hand. I helped him up and he took the helmet off. "Now which one of you started it," I asked Kendall and Carlos. Sometimes they act so childish that sometimes I think James and I are the only mature ones in this group. This is often I'm even starting to sound like a parent. "He started it," they both said in unison and pointing at each other.

Well that didn't solve anything. "James," I said. "They both started at the same time," he said. "Ugh you guys are so childish! Just apologize to James," I said. "Okay fine. James we're sorry for calling you a cheater," they said in unison. "It's fine," he said. "Geez when will they learn to be mature?"

"What did you just say Logan," asked Kendall. I just looked at him puzzled. James saw my face and whispered in my ear what I just said. I thought I said that in my head. God how I hate when I start thinking out loud. "Huh? Oh no I didn't say anything," I told him and then his need of tackling me went away. "Oh okay. Can we change the subject," he asked. "Yeah sure why not," I said sitting on the couch.

"How did it go with Alondra," he asked sitting down too. "It went great," I said. "Wait but why did she hesitate to answer to your question," asked James joining us on the couch. "What do you mean," I asked. "Well Alondra took a while to respond to your question and I'm just asking why she hesitated to respond. Does she not love you anymore or what," he asked. "No. No no it's not that! Did you think I hadn't noticed and that I wouldn't ask her? No I asked her and she said that the surprise made her stay speechless because she was in shock. I asked her if it was because she didn't love me anymore and she said that she still loves me and that she wants to live the rest of her life with me," I said.

"Oh okay. Well I'm glad for you Logan," he said. "Yeah we all are," said Carlos patting me on the shoulder. "Thanks guys. I wouldn't have done it without you guys," I said. "No problem, that's what we're here for," they said. "Thanks," I said. "Well I'm glad that she still loves you and that she wants to spend the rest of her life with you," said Kendall. "Yeah I know. It was such a relieve when Inasked her and hearing her response because I was not goong to keep that inside me," I said. "Yeah dude, because it would've sucked if she would of said no," said James. "Yeah she scared me. I thought she was going to say no. Those few seconds I waited for her response my heart started racing," I said putting my hand over my heart.

"I would feel the same way," they all said in unison and putting their hand over their heart. They all looked at each other and I looked at them too. "What is up with you guys tackling each other and speaking in unison," I asked.

They just looked at each other, shrugged their shoulders, and said, "We have no clue whatsover." "See there it is again. Okay what number am I thinking of," I said. "14," said Kendall. "9," said James. "Corn dogs," said Carlos. "CORN DOGS?! That isn't even a number," we all shouted. "Great it's contagious! No, none of you guessed it correctly but at least I got you to stop saying everything in unison," I said. "Hey it actually worked", said Kendall. "What the heck", said Carlos. "How did you know it was going to work", asked James.

"Actually I didn't know it would work. I just decided to give it a try," I said. "It's like if you did magic," said Carlos surprised. "What can I say? I am the brains of the group. I guess you can say that I've got the magic in me," I said. "Hey you're not the only smart one in this group," said James. "Oh yeah, what's 50 times 50," I asked. "500,00," asked James. "No it's 250,00," I said. "Okay fine so you are the brains of the group," he said. "That's what I thought," I said smirking. "Oh whatever don't rub it in Logan," James said. "I'm not rubbing it in James. I'm not like that and you know it," I said.

"I know I'm just messing with you Logan," he said. "I know you are," I said. "Any who, it's getting late and I'm tired," said Kendall. "Yeah me too," said Carlos. "I'm tired too," I said. "Same here plus I need my beauty sleep," said James. "Alright good night," said Kendall. "Good night," said Carlos yawning. "Night," said James. "Nighty night," I said yawning too.
