Chapter Nineteen: WHAT?! Naomi and Katie Have... Oooh

Recently, Katie and I have been struck by Cupid. I can't explain this feeling I have inside. Now I understand how Logan, James, Kendall, and Carlos feel. I am so happy right now. Oh shoot but I haven't told Logan and I have to tell him if not he'll get mad at me. My boyfriend's name is Max and Katie's boyfriend's name is Jace.

I did my morning routine and then I headed down stairs. I came down to see Logan and James watching Celebrity Name Game. I love this show I can't believe he's watching it without me; haha just kidding I don't mind. Anyway I said good morning to both of them and then I heads to the kitchen to get some juice. All of a sudden I saw Kendall pop out of no where. "Oh my gosh Kendall you scared me," I said putting my hand on my chest. "Naomi I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you," he said giving me hug. "It's ok don't worry about it. Where were you," I asked him. "I was cleaning some juice that I spilled on the floor," he said. "Oh no wonder. I thought that only James and Logan were here. So good morning," I told him giving him a smile. "Haha good morning Naomi," he said smiling.

I went over and sat down next to Logan. I noticed that James was really happy so I decided to ask him. "James you seem very happy this morning. Do you mind if I ask you what is making you so happy," I said. "Oh yeah he's super happy because," Logan started to say but James cut him off. "Because I asked Lucy to marry me and she said yes," he said. "Wow that's great James! Congratulations," I told him. "Thanks," he said. "When is the wedding going to be," I asked. "It's going to be on Saturday, July 18," he said. "The same day Alondra and I are getting married," said Logan. "Wow that's great! So are you guys going to have you're wedding at the same church," I asked. "Yup. Same church. The one that is close to the beach," said James. "Oh my gosh I can't wait to experience this beautiful moment," I said. "Yup," they said in unison.

"What about you? You seem very happy this morning too," said James. "Yeah James is right. You are very happy today too," said Logan narrowing his eyes at me. "Actually I am and that is what I wanted to talk to you guys about," I said. "Go ahead were listening," said Kendall. "Haha okay here it goes: Katie and I have been struck by Cupid. I met this really sweet and cute guy and his name is Max. Katie met this guy named Jace. They asked us out on a date. So we said yes without asking permission so I wanted to let you guys know so that you don't get mad. Yes we are officially dating now," I said waiting for them to process the news. "What," they all exclaimed in unison. I sort of flinched a little bit even though I knew that that was coming. "I'm sorry," I said. "No no we're not mad at you. It's just that it's surprising," said James. "Yeah I mean we said that because we are happy for you girls," said Logan. "Yeah but just remember that having a boyfriend can lead to heartbreak and it will happen. If those two boys break my little girls' hearts they will pay the consequences," said Kendall. "Yeah we know but hopefully just hopefully we can be together for a long time," I said.

"I wish you all the best," said Kendall. "I do too," said James. "Yeah I do too. You girls have the right to have a boyfriend. I mean you are both very studious, hardworking, strong, and mature young ladies. You are old enough to start dating so I don't think that it would be right for us to get mad. Go ahead just make sure your grades don't drop down. If the grades start to drop you can say goodbye to your boyfriend. But just know that I wish you and Katie all the best," said Logan giving me a big hug. "Thanks big brother," I said still hugging him. Then James and Kendall came over and hugged me. "And thank you James and Kendall," I said. "No problem that's what we're here for: to support our little girls even though they are growing up too fast," said James starting to tear up a bit. "Hey you better not start crying because. Then you're going to make me cry," I said. "Haha don't worry I won't," he said. Then we pulled away from our hugs and we went back to watching the show.

Well this went well. I thought that they would take it harder. I thought that they would get angry at me but they didn't. This was easier than I thought it would be.

"Naomi so when did you and Katie meet these boys," asked Logan. "Well we met them two days ago," I said. "Okay," he said. He kissed my forehead and we finished watching the show. I have such an amazing family. I know that James, Kendall, Carlos, and Mrs. Knight aren't my relatives, but I love them as if they were my family. I don't see them as friends I see them as my family. They are all amazing and they support me in everything. This was such a great way to start my day. Woo hoo!!
