Chapter Eleven: I Don't Believe You

I just finished talking with Logan. I told him about what Alondra had said and why she had said that. He sounded a bit down and disappointed and I completely understand because she doesn't believe him and he was telling her the truth. I was right about Logan being honest with her and she got mad. Now that I've seen the videos I obviously want to help him even more. So I don't know when she'll want to go see the videos. I'm assuming that she won't want to see them because she doesn't want anything to do with Logan right now. I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even notice when Alondra came into the kitchen. I didn't even hear what she said.

"V," she said waving her hand in front of me. "Huh? What happened," I asked her. "I said who are you thinking about? You seem so lost in your thoughts," she said. "Oh umm you're not going to like this-," I got cut off. "Oh my gosh I can't believe you still feel sorry for him. He cheated on me with Camille. I still can't believe that you believe the words he said. I saw everything and I know that he's not telling the truth," she said raising her voice. I love my friends and all but when someone raises their voice at me I get pissed off. I raised my voice too. "You know what you don't know everything that happened that day! You don't want to see that Logan is saying the truth and that he would never lie to you because he loves you! He loves you so much he doesn't even know what he'll do if you never believe him and get back with him! He's crazy for you and you don't want to believe him. He wants to spend the rest of his life with you," I yelled a bit louder that I wanted to.

"Oh yeah how do you know? You're just trying to cover him! He's lying I know it and you are too! I never thought my friend would betray me this way," she yelled. "Umm excuse me but I have not betrayed you! And I will never betray you because you're my best friend! I'm doing this to help you and Logan! Why? Because that's what best friends do: they help each other out and never stab each other in the back. Plus I know this because I saw the evidence," I yelled. "I don't believe you. I don't believe you or Logan," she said calming down. "Well duh obviously you don't. If not you wouldn't have gotten the way you just did," I said still angry and with attitude. "I'm sorry V it's just that he upsets me so much," she said. "Yeah whatever. You would believe me if you would have gone with me to see the evidence but you didn't want to so that's not my problem," I said glaring at her.

She just looked down and stayed quiet. Ha that shut her up. Hopefully she's thinking about how this all nonsense and that she should realize that if I'm telling her this it's because it's true. She got her phone and turned it on. I just stared at her and just watching what she was doing. She noticed that there was a text from Logan and turned it off again. Then set back down on the coffee table. I took a deep breath and was able to calm myself.

"What's wrong," I asked her. "It was a text from him," she said looking at me. "Did you reply," I asked. "Pssh no of course not," she said. "Oh well what did he say," I asked. "Well he said 'Hey Alondra I'm so sorry for what happened, but I didn't kiss her she kissed me. Please believe me because I want to spend my life with you.' I wanted to reply to him with: 'You're such a liar. I don't believe you anymore and I never will'," she said.

"Well then why didn't you do it," I asked. "Haha no because he barely sent it to me and he's going to think that I want to get back with him. Of course you know that I do, but I can't because no matter what you say I still don't believe he's telling the truth. I still believe he's a liar and that all those things that he told me were a bunch of bs," she said. "No Alondra he's being sincere," I told her. "Yeah I don't know what to think. I can't believe you no matter how much I try," she said.

"Yeah I know it must be hard but you have to believe us. Just one thing: if I were to be able to go to the Palm Woods again and have Mr. Bitters show me the videos would you go? If you do, would you believe Logan and I then," I asked. "Huh... I don't know maybe," she said. "Okay good," I said. "Remember I said maybe. Maybe means it could be a yes or a no," she said. "Alright," I said.
