She drove as fast as she can and she is now at the airport, with her dog who she named Pouf. Pouf was doing that sad puppy face and she felt guilty for leaving her dog alone in the middle of the night, so she decided to bring him along with her. Kurapika excused himself and told Light Nostrade that he can't come with back to the mansion, and good thing he agreed. Kurapika keeps on searching for (y/n) at the airport, and he saw someone familiar with (hair color) hair and she was carrying a dog. He approached her but she did not see, her back was facing him
"(y/n)." He poked her shoulders as (y/n) turned around with a smile on her face
"Hello Kurapika-" She was cut off by an embrace. Kurapika didn't think twice and just hugged her, snaked his arms around her waist, and leaned in the crook of her neck. He was really busy and tired, and he wants comfort. (y/n) don't know what to do, she just froze, her body was tense 'He must have a long day' She inhaled his scent and it smells exactly like his coat, but better.
Kurapika got distracted by Pouf barking and he became aware of his actions and quickly stopped hugging her.
"Is this the dog you talked about?" Kurapika asked
"Yeah. This is Pouf"
"...Poo?" Kurapika made a confused look
"Pouf." She corrected
"Anyways, you didn't have to come here. It's midnight, you should rest" Kurapika told her. He was genuinely concerned for her but at the same time, he was happy that she's here to see him.
"But I want to see you. Come with me, I'll drop you off at your home." She said, they went to the parking lot. (y/n) took the driver's seat, she put Pouf at the back, and Kurapika sat at the front seat beside her. She turned on the engine and started to drive as Kurapika turned on the radio so they could listen to the music.
'Stay With Me' by Miki Matsubara played on the radio. Kurapika started singing, his voice was calming and it perfectly fit the song. (The media above^)
"To you~ yes my love, to youu~" Kurapika sang the lyrics and continued
"Stay with meee, knocking on midnight's door~ I beg you not to go home tonight~"
While Kurapika sang that line, she thought about something, there was an anxious feeling that she cannot shrug off. While the traffic light is red, she checked her pockets and her sling bag, there was indeed something missing
"Kurapika."
"Yes?" he stopped singing and looked at her. (Y/n) surely brought her car keys but...
