"So this is Gon, Killua and his sister, Alluka, and Leorio." Kurapika said as he pointed to each of them, and he pointed at you next "This is (Y/n)" 

"H-hello" She greeted and smiled shyly as they all smiled back

"Oh! Kurapika, isn't she the girl you talked about?" Gon asked as she became flustered "Gon it's obvious that it is her! He never brings a girl over" Leorio exclaimed while eating a leftover sandwich he found in the fridge. (Y/n) turned over to the man beside him and asked

"You told them about me?" 

"uh no, w-wait yes I did, b-but no" He stuttered, his ears turning a bit pink as she chuckled

"Then why are you blushing?"

"That's probably just your imagination" He said as he left her, going to the kitchen to avoid the topic. She followed him to the kitchen while he's planning to cook some eggs, bacon, and rice. The three friends were looking at Kurapika with weird faces. He sure is mamapika, but honestly, he cannot cook.

Leorio was having his doubts, Gon raised a brow as he stared at him, Killua was shocked, Pouf finally woke up and is now playing with Alluka

"Hey Gon, Kurapika is making breakfast. Should we be worried?" Killua whispered to Gon but loud enough for everyone to hear

"Don't you make breakfast every morning?" (Y/n) asked Kurapika, she stood beside him. He just ignored everyone as he continued on what he was doing. He just actually wanted to impress (Y/n) with his cooking skills, but he has zero cooking skills and his mind is panicking on what to do.

"We just order food somewhere and they would deliver it here, we never had a proper breakfast for a very long time." Leorio answered instead. She noticed that Kurapika was not cooking the rice correctly. He just put the raw rice in the rice cooker without soaking it in the water. Before he could do anything else further, she stopped him

"Kurapika, your doing it the wrong way" He stopped his movements and looked at her in confusion. She took the rice from him and soaked it in water, she also explained how to cook the dish properly. Well he could say that he learned something from her, and she's also the one who cooked the eggs and bacon instead of Kurapika. So basically the 'try-to-impress-(y/n)-mission' failed for him

Everyone can smell the food that she made and all of them drooled as the all settle in the dining, sitting on the chairs. She brought the food to to the table while Kurapika places the plates and utensils, the both of them took a seat right after that. She sat beside him

All of their eyes sparkled in delight, their mouth were watering at the sight

"Wahh, this is the first time we are all gonna have a proper meal! I'm excited"

"It looks so good"

"Brother, can I have the bacon?"

"Okay guys, lets attack the food!"

They all said in unison while Kurapika was only the quiet one, he was still upset at the fact that he did not impress (y/n). He was looking forward for this morning, and watched on youtube how to cook at the night before, but it turn out to this. She was actually the one who impresses him

Everyone was already eating but she can't help but glance at Kurapika, he barely touched his food as he was occupied by his thoughts

"Is it okay? The food" she whispered to him. He finally snapped out of his thoughts and nodded at her. He began eating, and her food taste like heaven for him
