"So you want me me to.. put you on with my sister?" Denki asked, raising a brow.

He scowled. "Don't fucking say it like that.

"I don't know~ talking to my sister is not easy. But if you insist.."

"You know what? I don't need your help, I'll talk to her on my own."

Bakugou has had a crush on y/n since watching your performance in the sports festival. He thought that you were one of the only people that he could consider on his level because of your ability, and he liked the fact that you weren't easy. He didn't like easy, and you were just right for that. But everyone called it a crush but him.

Although he's never asked a girl out before, he wasn't familiar with the experience but it couldn't have been too hard, right?

"Break me off, and gitchi gitchi ya-ya when the lights is out - I'm summertime crushin-" Someone had tapped your shoulder and you had turned around to see who it was, on defense mode. "Bakugou. Boy what the hell do you want?" You took out one of your earbuds.

He furrowed his eyebrows and was his blood was starting to boil now, though strangely enough, this was one of the other things he liked about you. "Wait who the hell do you think you're talking to?"

You raised a brow, wondering who he thought he was talking to. You looked to you left and right to find the answer. "I was talking to you. Now what do you want? You see me over here listening to my music and you come over here and-"

"I... uh - wanted to ask.." 'Shit.' He thought to himself. 'Why is this so hard to do? She's just a girl, I can handle talking to girls.. right? Right! I'm Katsuki Bakugou for fucks sake! I can do anything..'
"Are you free this weekend?"

You looked him up and down. "Yeah why?" You would be lying if you said that you weren't happy that he took the initiative to ask you out, but you couldn't let him know that.

"Do you wanna like - go to the movies with me?"

Seeing him kinda vulnerable was really sweet but you had to have fun with this. You didn't know when you had the opportunity to do as again.

You scoffed. "Hell no." You responded bluntly.
(damnnnn that hurt me and I'm the one writing this 😭😭) You tried so hard not to laugh.

Bakugou was in shock that someone would reject him. That someone had the balls to reject him. And it didn't not make it any better that people around were just as shocked as he was, some were making fun of it as well. If Bakugou had never felt embarrassed before, he was now, and he could absolutely say that.

"Well why the hell not?"

"Because, you're gonna have to try a lot harder than that if you want a date with me, shawty red." You turned away from him and placed your earbud back in your ear, turning your music back on.

For Bakugou, this wasn't over and if he was gonna get a chance with you, it had to work a bit harder, but he didn't mind.
