"TIGHTEN UP LADIES! The game is next Tuesday and I want you all to be SHARP!" Midnight, the cheer coach, instructed. Since you were practicing at the same time as the soccer team and there was considered to be some very handsome people on the team, lots of girls on the team were distracted. You included.

Whenever you could, you sneaked a glance at Denki every now and then. He was really good at what he was doing, working hard and whatnot, but you were just grateful that you weren't called out for it yet. This was the fourth time you were going through the routine and it was clear that everyone was tired.

"Okay pussies, WATER BREAK!" You walked over to your bag to grab your water bottle and started drinking until Mina snatched it from you and started chuging.

"Hey!"

She stopped and wiped the extra water dripping down her chin, gasping for air. "..S-Sorry, I, forgot my water bottle at home this morning." You took it back from her and got a drink from it yourself. Midnight walks over to the both of you.

"You ladies done here?" You put your water bottle away and got back to practicing.

10 minutes of practice left and by this time you just could not focus. The heat intensified and you were getting hot and tired, and you were watching Denki getting hot and tired as well. 'He must be really hot. He took of his shirt and everything... sweaty... tank top... toned arms... never noticed his hair in that ponytail before..-' 

"L/N!" Midnight called you out, snapping you out of your thoughts, before they got any worse.

"Oop-"

"I know practice is almost over, but push through and FOCUS! Next Tuesday is around the corner and I don't need you making the rest of the team look like fools." This embarrassed you and every other girl on the team and everyone on the soccer team were probably embarrassed for you as well. You just wanted the 10 minutes to be over now.

Practice was finally over and you hadn't gotten over the embarrassment from a few minutes ago. You picked up your bag from the stands silently, getting ready to go back into the building to change when Jirou caught up to you.

"Seems like you were distracted by your lil boo thang~"

"How'd you notice? Weren't y'all practicing?"

"Yeah but when that happened, we finished team practice and we're just practicing on our own. Denki noticed you eyeing him too.." You froze. If he didn't think that you liked him before, that would be sure to put a thought in his head. "He was eyeing you and he couldn't focus much either. You should talk to him." You didn't know what you would say. Would this be your opportunity to tell him how you felt? There's only a handful of things that could really mess you up and you already knew what they were.

You looked past Jirou and saw him talking with Shiozaki. You weren't gonna lie, you have been seeing him around with her and this was one of the factors holding you back. Jirou noticed where you were looking and grabbed you by the wrist, dragging you over to the pair.

"Oh hey Ji-" Before he could finish greeting her, Jirou grabbed his arm and dragged him along.

Jirou brought the two of you inside and turned to you, putting her hands firmly on your shoulders.

"You got this. Tell us all about it when you're finished. Love you!" And with that, she left you alone.. with him, with the intent that you were gonna do something you were honestly nervous to do.

"Huh? What's she talkin bout?" Denki raises a brow at you.

"I- uh. . . you want some water? You look like you need it." Denki saw right through the bull and was focused on the fact that you had something to tell him and he wanted to know what it was.

"I'm fine, you have something to tell me? What is it?"

"You got a girlfriend, Denki?" He scoffed.

"No why?"

"I thought you went out with the girl with the vines..." You were no longer meeting his eyes and you looked down, fiddling with the strap of your bag.

"Oh Shiozaki? Nah s-she's-"

"Your fuckbuddy?"

"No. Why are you worried? Do you want to be my fuckbuddy or something?" He got closer to you, this kinda making you nervous because you would've never thought you'd get this close to him, ever.

You stepped back from him. "No... maybe a little more than that.." you trailed.

"A little more than that... my girlfriend? You want to have a serious relationship with me?" You really didn't know what to think of his reaction. Whether he was happy about it or completely shocked was unknown to you.

"Yeah? But I need to know a few things."

"Alright alright,, what do you need to know?"

As you both were walking and heading out the school, you asked him about all the rumors. You asked him more about the relationship between him and Shiozaki, you asked him about other girls, you asked him about how he felt about you.

"I'm going to be quite honest with you.. Shiozaki and I do have a connection."

You raised a brow. "What kind of connection?"

"A sexual one? But when I get with you, there'll be no more of that." He stops in front of you. "I really like you, Y/N and I want to try having an actual relationship with someone, and I want that someone to be you." He picked up your hands and held them firmly in his.

You were very happy that things were going a lot better than you expected, but you assumed that it would be much harder for Denki to drop all that he's done before just for you. But you took the chance at a relationship with him anyways.

"Okay so I guess you're my boyfriend now."

"Whoa really?? I'm your boyfriend now?"

"Yeah that's what I said."

"C'mere you," He snaked his arm around your waist, pulling you closer to him. "Since you're my girlfriend now, I should call you something cute..."

You looked up at him. "Like baby, babe, or-"

"Buzzybeautifulbee! My buzzybeautifulbee!" You paused and looked at him like he was crazy. It was cute but unusual, very unusual. "What? It's cute and unique to you."

"Anyone can be called that, babe."

"I know but you're my buzzybeautifulbee." He planted a kiss on your cheek. "All mine."
