"dr. y/n l/n." you managed to say. he laughed softly to himself.

"are you better at your job than the others? if not," his eyes trailed down to your lips. you didn't know how his actions were making you feel. was he flirting with you or torturing you? was this his fucked up way of messing up your head when you couldn't get into his?

"you have the looks to make up for it." you didn't want to try to find the right words to respond. you looked at him blankly and began to pull out the folder of files that you were given about him. the less reactions you gave him, the better off you thought you'd be.

you cleared your throat before going over what was in the files. "your real name is touya todoroki, am i correct? it says here that you are the eldest son of pro-hero, endeavor... i'm guessing life with him didn't turn out very well, did it?" that probably came out as an insult in more ways than one, but of course your intentions were pure.

"oh no, it did," you became confused once again. "until i wasn't good enough for him any more. but everyone makes mistakes, right?" it was weird the way he could smile after saying something like that. well of course something was really wrong with this man but you knew that the problem went much deeper than you thought.
